Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the most affordable available room category. Boarding always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to boarding is mandatory. Boarding will always be on the next available date.

Notice

Your chosen travel offer has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the boarding day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and boarding. Visit to the Luxor Museum in the afternoon (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. Hot air balloon excursion at 5 am (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure for Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Saver cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small round window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

Same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sqm) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

Several thatched huts with lounge chairs are on a sandy beach under a blue sky.
The newly built hotel impresses with its particularly luxurious atmosphere and is located in the beautiful bay of Abu Soma, directly on the 300m long private beach. The beach boasts white sand and a beautiful view over the crystal-clear water of the bay. The nearest town, Safaga, is about 20 km away and offers some shopping opportunities, restaurants, and bars. Hurghada Downtown is about 55 km away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 50 km away.

Facilities

The stylish and luxurious resort has 409 generously furnished rooms. The elegant lobby features a reception and promises an unforgettable holiday from the moment you enter. The schauinsland-original rooms are modernly furnished (DSP, approx. 50sqm) and feature a king-size bed or two twin beds, a large bathroom with rain shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), cosmetic mirror, bathrobe and slippers, air conditioning, coffee/tea maker (daily complimentary refill), minibar (water is refilled daily. All other items at a charge), safe (included), balcony or terrace.
When booking this room, customers receive the following additional amenities:

Superior Double Room Front Sea View Top Floor

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen-Original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and offer sea views. These rooms have a frontal sea view and are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel.

Superior Double Room Grand Side Sea View

Superior rooms type B (DSB) are approx. 50 sqm and feature a queen-size bed and a seating area that can be converted into a bed. The rooms are equipped with a bathroom, air conditioning, safe, minibar (water is refilled daily. All other items at a charge), and a hairdryer. This room type can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child. The rooms are located on the first and second floors and offer a side sea view.
Also available for single occupancy (E1S) or with pool and sea view (GD2/G1D).

Deluxe Family Room Pool and Sea View

Deluxe family rooms (F2D) are approx. 60 sqm and feature either a king-size bed or two twin beds. These rooms are larger and have two rooms, a main bedroom and a seating area that can be converted into beds, with bathrooms featuring a rain shower and separate WC, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, bathrobes, and slippers. Additionally, there is a large separate dressing room with full-length mirrors. A smart TV with cable/satellite TV channels, two direct-dial telephones, and a safe are also provided in the room. Executive suites (X2S) have the same amenities as the Superior rooms with side sea view, but are larger (approx. 57 sqm), have a bathtub and shower in the bathroom, and feature a private swim-up pool. Villa 2 Bedrooms

The villas (V22) with two bedrooms are approx. 350 sqm and are equipped with a queen-size bed and two twin beds. They feature air conditioning, an open-plan bathroom with a jacuzzi, and a private garden with an outdoor shower (rain shower), hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, and beach and pool towels.
Additionally, the villas have a separate living and seating area, a dressing room with full-length mirrors, a fully equipped kitchen (including ice maker, refrigerator, stove, and espresso machine), smart TV with cable and satellite reception, minibar, safe, and telephone.
