Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The next available embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days as per the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional hot air balloon excursion (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, sightseeing of the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continuing the journey from Esna.
Afterwards, proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.

In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).

Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your culinary well-being. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and are equipped with a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

With the same features as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Jacuzzi Suite

The approx. 50 m² (incl. 4 m² balcony/terrace) Jacuzzi suites (S2J) feature a couple's Jacuzzi, shower, WC, vanity mirror, air conditioning, safe, minibar (replenished daily with water, juice, beer, soft drinks), smart TV with German channels, coffee and tea making facilities, as well as a swing chair on the terrace.

Pure Standard Suite Jacuzzi

The approx. 27 m² Pure Standard suites (SAJ) are slightly smaller, with similar equipment elements as the Jacuzzi suites. Some suites have a small balcony with visual privacy screen or terrace and face the land side.

Swim Up Suite

The swim-up suites (2SU) feature, with similar equipment as the Jacuzzi suites, a direct access to the terrace pool (this is heated in winter) and are more spacious with a size of approx. 50 m² (incl. 4 m² terrace).

Penthouse

The penthouse suites (P2) located on the upper floors are equipped like the Jacuzzi suites but are more spacious at approx. 107 m² (incl. 16 m² balcony), with their own living room, private pool (heated in winter), and a breathtaking view over the Red Sea.

Super saver room

The super saver rooms (SSZ) are approx. 27m² and equipped with shower/WC, espresso machine, TV, Wi-Fi, vanity mirror, safe. The rooms have no Jacuzzi, no balcony, and face the land side.
