Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next available embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. hot air balloon trip (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, including Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Afterwards, proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay will take place.

Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Trip to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit to the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.

Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approximately 19 m² in size and feature a bathroom with a bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

Single Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

Spend a wonderful holiday at the Arabella Azur Resort under the Egyptian sun. The architecturally charming resort is located in a small, sheltered bay in the heart of Hurghada. The private sandy beach bay delights with a dreamily beautiful house reef, which offers the best conditions for exploring the colorful underwater world. Stairs facilitate entry into the crystal-clear water of the Red Sea. The lively city center of Hurghada with various shopping and entertainment options is only about 3 km away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 10 km away.

Facilities

The hotel, designed in the typical local Nubian style, has 295 rooms distributed between the main building and five annexes. The hotel's amenities include a spacious lobby with a reception area and comfortable seating. Various shops on the premises invite you to browse. Culinary enjoyment is provided by two buffet restaurants (international and Italian) and two à la carte restaurants ("Bordiehn's Restaurant" - reservation required, drinks for a fee, and "Al Raouche" - Lebanese cuisine - for a fee), as well as several bars and a café. A music pub in the outdoor area completes the offerings.
In the spacious garden, there are two freshwater pools (one heated) as well as a separate and heated children's pool.
