Product information

Combination product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be taken.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon excursion (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Further sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will stay overnight.
Lunch and dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then an opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sailing to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue sailing to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious meals. The offer is complemented by cozy lounge bars. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. The spacious sun deck features a large pool and a bar. Beach towels are included on board.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner served buffet-style. Drinks available for a fee.

Entertainment

Occasional evening entertainment with folklore performances.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins are also bookable for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small round window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

These cabins (K1B) have the same amenities as the standard cabins, but are slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and have only one bed. The window cannot be opened.

Location

The family-friendly SENTIDO Mamlouk Palace Resort boasts an ideal location. The hotel complex is situated directly on the hotel's own 400-meter long, gently sloping sandy beach. Enjoy the beauty of the Red Sea and the magnificent sunsets here. The city center of Hurghada is about 20 km away. Hurghada International Airport is approximately 15 km away.

Facilities

The beautiful 5-star resort impresses with its oriental style and offers its guests a reception with 24-hour service and various shops. The main restaurant with daily changing theme buffets and four à la carte specialty restaurants ("Manzoku"-Asian, "Frida"-Mexican, "Manohar"-Indian, and "La Terraza"-Spanish) spoil guests with a rich selection of delicious dishes. With the "Roots Diet & Light" concept (for a fee), gluten-free, lactose-free, or low-carb dishes can be selected. Six bars complement the diverse offerings, providing refreshments and snacks. The facilities of the neighboring hotel "SUNRISE Select Garden Beach Resort" (HRG142) can also be used, including the aquapark with eleven great water slides.
A beautiful outdoor area features a magnificent pool landscape with small rivers and bridges. The relaxation pool and the family pool (family pool heated in winter) provide fun for all ages.
Sun umbrellas, loungers, cushions, and bath towels (once a day) are included by the pool and on the beach.

Double Room

The double rooms (D) with a size of approx. 41 m² are nicely and comfortably furnished and have a bathroom with shower, minibar (daily refill with water, weekly with soft drinks), Wi-Fi, safe, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), hairdryer, balcony or terrace, and garden or pool view.
Available at an extra charge with pool view (DP) or partial sea view (DMS) as well as for single use (DE/DES/DEM).

Family Suite

The family suites (DF2) have the same amenities as the double rooms, are slightly larger (approx. 52 m²), with an additional living/sleeping area with two sofa beds and garden view. The rooms have a connecting door.
Available at an extra charge with pool view (2FB).

Family Room Bunk Beds

These family rooms (2FA) have the same amenities as the double rooms, are the same size (approx. 41 m²), and additionally feature bunk beds for children (approx. 1.90 m x 1 m length), but no separate bedroom.

Junior Suite

The comfortably furnished Junior Suites (JS2) are equipped like the double rooms, have a size of 50 m², and feature a bedroom and an additional living area with two sofa beds.

Super Saver Room

The super saver rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the double rooms, but a limited contingent and special price. The view is towards the street.

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (ES2) are approx. 66m² in size and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, minibar (daily refill with water, weekly with soft drinks), Wi-Fi, TV, telephone (for a fee), and balcony or terrace. The Executive Suites have a living area and a sleeping area.
