Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next available embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1. Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. hot air balloon trip (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
3. Day:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening travel to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
Continue from Esna.
Afterwards, continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.

5. Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
6. Day:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Travel to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.

Continue to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant serves delicious dishes. The offering is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Cabin single occupancy

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The luxury resort is located directly on its own hotel beach, with a unique house reef, in the exclusive holiday area of Sahl Hasheesh. The reef invites you to dive and snorkel in its fascinating underwater world. Two beautiful artificially created lagoons as well as a natural lagoon ensure rest and relaxation. The airport of Hurghada is approx. 25 km away. The center of Hurghada with numerous restaurants, bars, shopping, and entertainment options is approx. 30 km (taxi for a fee) away.

Facilities

The resort, built from natural coral stones on a hillside, has 552 rooms spread over eight buildings. The hotel has its own small marina and a private beach. Facilities include a spacious, cozy lobby with reception, a beauty salon with hairdresser, several souvenir shops, and a Starbucks (for a fee). Six different restaurants ("Star Fish" for a fee) cater to your culinary needs. Cool refreshments are served in eight different bars. The Shisha bar with water pipes rounds off the varied offer (for a fee).
In the well-kept and lovingly landscaped outdoor area, three swimming pools, a children's pool, and six open-air whirlpools (all can be heated in winter) invite you to relax and unwind. Double room sea view

The approx. 36-58 m² and modernly furnished double rooms with sea view (DM,MBB) have shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, Wi-Fi, safe, satellite TV, minibar (incl. water and soft drinks), coffee/tea maker, individually controllable air conditioning, balcony or terrace. Double rooms can also be booked for single use (DEM). All double rooms have a sea view.

Double room (HRGA29)

The double rooms are similar in equipment to the double rooms with sea view, but do not have a sea view (D). Also bookable for single occupancy (DE).

Double Deluxe sea view

The approx. 60 m² double deluxe sea view rooms (DM2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms with sea view with balcony or terrace. The double deluxe rooms are located in buildings 6, 7, and 8 on the ground floor and also have a sea view. Also bookable for single occupancy (DM1).

The family rooms with sea view (F2M) are approx. 60 m² and have two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a dressing room. Equipped like the double rooms with sea view.

Double room Superior Swim up sea view

The spacious swim-up rooms (2MW) are approx. 58 m² in size, modernly furnished, and have shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, Wi-Fi, safe, satellite TV, minibar (incl. water and soft drinks), coffee/tea maker, individually controllable air conditioning, terrace, and access to the sharing pool (bookable from 16 years). Also bookable for single occupancy (1MW).

Double room Executive (HRGA29)

These executive rooms are approx. 57 m² and have similar equipment to the double rooms with sea view, however, they offer a swim-up terrace (EXD).

Double room sea view type A (HRGA29)

These rooms are only bookable for adults from 12 years and are approx. 35 m². Amenities include air conditioning, TV, telephone, safe (for a fee), minibar (for a fee), and a balcony with sea view (DMA).
