Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Sightseeing of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 am excursion with the balloon (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
3. Day:
Sightseeing of the West Bank. Morning after breakfast excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
Continuation from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.
Lunch and dinner as well as overnight stay on board.
5. Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

The popular Iberotel Makadi Beach hotel is located directly on the beautiful, long sandy beach of the idyllic Makadi Bay. Experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea. The hotel's own reef grows in places right up to the shore and offers very good diving and snorkeling conditions. Just a few meters from the hotel is the Makadi Souk, where you can look for a souvenir or two or enjoy oriental dishes in one of the nice restaurants. Hurghada is located approx. 35 km to the north.

Amenities

The spacious complex with two-story residential units that stretch along the pool and garden landscape to the beach leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel has 313 rooms, an inviting reception hall with lobby and reception, Fun Pub, and shops and boutiques. A main restaurant, two à-la-carte restaurants, and an oriental restaurant provide for your physical well-being. Other à-la-carte restaurants are available to guests in the Madinat Makadi for a fee.
