Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all connecting transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Embarkation: Thursday
The itinerary may shift depending on the day of embarkation.
Itinerary:
1. Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon excursion (can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, including Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
3. Day:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
Continue from Esna.
Afterwards, proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay will take place.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay on board.
5. Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
6. Day:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Trip to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7. Day:
Continue to Esna and visit Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.
8. Day:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins distributed over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your physical well-being. The offerings are complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approximately 19 m² in size and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single use (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The luxurious hotel, built in Nubian style by the renowned JAZ hotel chain, offers holidaymakers an oasis of tranquility. Situated in the popular Madinat Makadi, the complex is located approx. 400 m away from Makadi Bay. Experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea directly at the hotel's own house reef, which extends almost to the beach. Here, you can combine a beach holiday with wellness relaxation. In the modern spa, you can unwind. In the nearby Makadi Center, you will find numerous opportunities for shopping, or you can choose one of the cozy bars and restaurants. Hurghada Airport is approx. 35 km away.

The tastefully furnished Superior Double Rooms (DSU) are approx. 32 m² in size and are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, telephone, satellite TV, refrigerator, and balcony or terrace.

Junior Suite Pool View

Royal Suite

The Royal Suite (RS) offers, in addition to the amenities of the Superior Double Rooms, a king-size bed, a private (heatable in winter) pool, and a terrace. They are approx. 80 m² in size and can be occupied by 2 adults.
