Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all connecting transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always in the most reasonably priced room category available. Embarkation always takes place on Saturdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to embarkation is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, including Karnak and Luxor Temples (1, 2, 3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. After breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1, 2, 3) and a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1, 2, 3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Afterwards, continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.

Day 5:
After breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1, 2, 3).
Then, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1, 2, 3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1, 2, 3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village, with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2, 3). Journey to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1, 2, 3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1, 2, 3). Overnight stay on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Single cabin

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Spend the best time of the year in the beautiful grounds of the Albatros Palace Resort. This spacious holiday resort is located directly on the hotel's own sandy beach with a house reef. Here, you can experience the beauty of the Red Sea while diving and snorkeling. It is about 18 km to the center of Hurghada and about 11 km to the airport.

Facilities

Plan your vacation days with numerous activities, relax afterward in the wellness area, and enjoy international delicacies in the various restaurants. The appealing, upscale hotel consists of a main building and several annexes, housing a total of 621 rooms. The hotel offers a luxurious reception area with a spacious lobby, a hairdresser/beauty salon (for a fee), a shopping arcade, and an ATM. Six restaurants, including Asian and Italian cuisine, various bars, cafes, and an oriental pub will delight the palate. In the spacious outdoor area, there is a large, lagoon-like pool landscape with various pools (one heated from November to April) as well as a separate fun area for children with slides and fountains (one heated children's pool). Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are provided free of charge on the sun terraces and at the beach.
