Travel information

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel will always be in the most favorable available room category. Embarkation is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be used.

Notice

Your chosen travel package has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship always takes place for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon excursion (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Sailing continues from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will also spend the night.
Lunch and dinner as well as overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then an opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Sailing to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Sailing to Esna and visit to the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival Luxor. Departure.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Beach towels are included on board.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 sqm and have a bathroom with bath/toilet, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single use (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 sqm) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Built in Nubian style, the Sheraton Miramar Resort invites you to relax and unwind. The beautiful hotel complex extends over nine small islands on which the various hotel buildings are spread. The island landscape is connected by wooden bridges. Surrounded by crystal-clear lagoons and beautiful sandy beaches, the location creates a very special atmosphere that immediately evokes a holiday mood. The hotel is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada, just a few minutes' drive from the center of El Gouna with its various shops, restaurants, and bars. For a fee, you can use the regularly running boat and bus shuttle. Hurghada Airport is approx. 40 km away.

The resort, designed by the famous architect Michael Graves, with 339 rooms, fascinates with its colorful combination of Arab and Nubian style and its location amidst a beautiful, exotic garden. Superior Double Room with Pool or Lagoon View

The comfortably furnished rooms (DSU) have been freshly renovated and are approximately 38 sqm. The rooms have a walk-in shower, toilet, hairdryer, individually adjustable air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (daily refilled with soft drinks), coffee and tea making facilities, safe, and a balcony or terrace with a view of the hotel's lagoon. Also bookable as a single room (DEU).

Premium Double Room with Partial Sea View

The rooms have a partial sea view and have been renovated.

Beachfront Deluxe Room

The newly renovated Beachfront Deluxe Rooms (BF2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms, but are located directly on the beach. Also bookable for single use (BF1).

The family rooms (DF2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms, but consist of two rooms with an connecting door.

Superior Suite (HRGA16)

The Superior Suites (SU2) are similar in amenities to the Superior Double Rooms but do not have a walk-in shower and are larger at approx. 42 sqm.
Also bookable for single use (SU1).

Junior Suite

The Junior Suite (JS2) offers the same amenities as the double rooms, but is more spacious (approx. 52 sqm) and has an open living area.

The main restaurant "Miramar" offers breakfast (7-10:30 AM) and dinner (6 PM-9:30 PM), both buffet style. Lunch is served in the "Miramar" or "Waves" restaurant. Local beer, local spirits, and local wines, soft drinks, ice cream, tea, mineral water, and coffee are included around the clock at the respective open bar. Drinks in the minibar are also included (daily refill of soft drinks).
ATTENTION: When booking Ultra All Inclusive, the Club Package is not included. The meals as per program must be booked to include the Club Package.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program allows guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive to enjoy a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants at other hotels - at no extra cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x for stays of four nights or more, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight nights or more. Guests of 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants.
