Travel information

Package combining a Nile cruise on the MS Kleos and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation will always be taken.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay in the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable locally).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sailing to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
In the morning, sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit to a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 5:
Early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.

Day 6:
Breakfast on board. Then the ship sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship sails on to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The MS Kleos has a total of 67 cabins spread across three different decks. On the middle deck, you will find an impressive and spacious reception area with seating and a small bazaar. The main restaurant on the Nile Deck offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner in buffet style. Two bars ensure refreshing drinks, one on the third deck (Lounge Bar) and the other on the sun deck. The sun deck also features ample loungers for relaxation and a spacious pool with two integrated whirlpools.

Cabin

The tastefully furnished cabins (17 sqm) have a bathroom with bathtub/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, air conditioning, minibar, and safe. All cabins also have floor-to-ceiling windows and a French balcony.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 11 sqm) and with only one bed.

The unique dining concept offers breakfast from 7 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 1 PM to 4 PM, and dinner from 7 PM to 10 PM in one of the hotel's three à la carte restaurants ("Lucina", "Gaia", "Yades"). As a Posh Club member (booked suite), you also have the option to have your breakfast exclusively in the "Posh Club Lounge". Sparkling wine breakfast is included for you in all four restaurants. Additionally, dinner can optionally be enjoyed in the buffet restaurant or in one of the eight different à la carte restaurants of the "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" (Mexican, Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Steak, Diet and Light, Bedouin Restaurant).
