Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be taken.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The preliminary and connecting stay in the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between airport, hotel, and harbor are included.

MS Nile Excellence incl. Excursion

Route

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and the visit to the High Dam in Aswan. The excursion packages listed below can, of course, still be booked. ***************************************************** Embarkation: Thursday. Depending on the day of embarkation, the route may change. Route: Day 1: Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor. Lunch on board. Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3). Then visit to a Nubian village (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board. Day 5: Early morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included. Then it's back to Kom Ombo. Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board. Day 6: Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board. Day 7: Breakfast. You then have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). The ship then continues to Luxor. Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked locally). Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. A small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are also available. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the sun deck on the loungers or cool off in the pool while enjoying the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Accommodation

Suite

The friendly furnished Suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or a double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony. Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the Suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks. The Royal Suites also have a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise equipped the same as the Suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are somewhat smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the Suites, and may have a non-opening window instead of a French balcony and seating area.

Full Board

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet or set menu. Breakfast includes soft and hot drinks. Lunch and dinner include two soft drinks and a small bottle of water per person.

Located in the heart of the stunning Makadi Bay, this five-star hotel is situated directly on the hotel's private sandy beach, offering the best conditions for exploring the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea. The center of Hurghada with various shopping and entertainment options is about 37 km away. Hurghada Airport is about 32 km away. The beautiful sister hotel "SUNRISE Tucana Resort Grand Select" (HRG333), which offers renovated rooms and further exclusive amenities, is located within the same extensive resort.

Facilities

The particularly generously designed resort complex has 465 rooms. The open reception area is equipped with a reception desk and seating areas. For culinary delights, in addition to the buffet restaurant, there are a total of eight à la carte restaurants (Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Bedouin, Mexican, Steak House, Roots Light & Diet (each included), and "Felucca" with seafood for a fee). Refreshments, hot drinks, and snacks are available at the nine bars and a cafe (for a fee) spread across the complex and beach, including three adult-only bars. The comfortably furnished Family Suites (2FS) are approx. 70 sqm and consist of two separate bedrooms (one with a king-size bed, one with twin beds) and a bathroom with shower/WC, a seating area, and a balcony.
