Travel Information

Combination product of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Embarkation is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be taken.

Notice

The selected travel package has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay in the hotel depends on your arrival day and embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) including a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 3:
In the morning, continue sailing to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Day 7:

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and have a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise equipped like the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same amenities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and may not have a French balcony or a seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

Spend a fantastic family holiday at the "Steigenberger Aqua Magic". The 5-star hotel offers fun for the whole family and delights young and old with its extensive water park. The tastefully designed promenade “ALDAU Art Promenade” separates the complex from the sandy beach, which is approximately 400 meters away and slopes gently into the sea. Enjoy snorkeling or diving here and be fascinated by the magical underwater world of the Red Sea. If needed, the hotel offers shuttle services to the beach (subject to availability). Your holiday destination is located in the newer part of Hurghada, on the modern promenade with oriental cafés, bars, and international pubs, as well as small shops. The town center of Hurghada with the well-known "Sakalla" is about 6 km away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 5 km away.

Facilities

The extensive hotel complex is particularly child-friendly and designed for families, featuring 718 generously equipped rooms and suites. The Family Suites (2FS/ASF) have the same amenities as the Deluxe Double Rooms but are more spacious (approx. 55 m²) and feature a master bedroom and a separate sleeping area with twin beds for children. The master bedroom is separated by a door from the sleeping area and hallway. Wi-Fi access for 3 devices is free. Also bookable as a Suite (SA).

Family Junior Suite

The Family Junior Suites (FJ2/FJA, approx. 68 m²) have the same amenities as the Family Suites but feature a master bedroom and a separate living/sleeping area. The Aqua Suite (S2, approx. 70 m²) consists of a living/sleeping area and a separate bedroom. Otherwise, it has the same features as the Deluxe Double Rooms.
