Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be used.

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3. Day:
Morning trip to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).

Early in the morning at 3:30 a.m., opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast box is included.
Then return to Kom Ombo.

Breakfast on board. Then the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7. Day:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Once there, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on-site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins distributed over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness room that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck, cool off in the pool, and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.
Also bookable for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) feature the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a window that cannot be opened.

The Cleopatra Luxury Resort is located directly on the picturesque, expansive sandy beach of Makadi Bay, about 30 kilometers south of Hurghada. This region is a true paradise for divers and snorkelers. Since access to the sea near the shore is stony, wearing bathing shoes is recommended. A hotel-owned jetty leads over the offshore reef into deeper water, allowing for comfortable entry into the sea. From there, you can experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea up close. The lively city center of Hurghada, with its numerous restaurants, bars, and shops, is about 35 kilometers away and offers diverse entertainment options. The international Hurghada airport is also only 30 kilometers away and ensures a convenient arrival.

Facilities

The sprawling Cleopatra Luxury Resort is idyllically nestled in a spacious garden. In this magnificent environment, several two- to three-story buildings are distributed, housing a total of 531 comfortably furnished rooms. Guests are welcomed in the friendly and spacious reception hall with a reception desk and lobby bar, which invites you to linger with cozy seating. Culinary delights are provided by the "Soko" buffet restaurant, which offers international and local cuisine, as well as two exquisite à la carte restaurants: "Vista Mare" with Italian specialties and the "Pool Restaurant" with fresh fish and seafood dishes. An oriental café with a shisha corner and a pub where cocktails and music ensure a pleasant atmosphere round off the gastronomic offer. The family rooms (DF2) consist of a Superior double room and a single room with a connecting door as well as a living area and are approximately 77 m².

Junior Suite

The junior suites (JS2) feature similar amenities to the Superior double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 65 m²) and offer an open living area and sea view.

On the beach, there is a water sports station with various offers, including, for example, windsurfing. Additionally, a diving center (Extra-Divers) offers trial diving, diving courses, and much more. For guests who prefer to be active on land, archery is also offered.
