MS Nile Excellence incl. Excursion

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks served by the three bars on board. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner. Starting from Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Nilkombi MS Nile Excellence & Excursion + Sultan Bey

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next available boarding will always be taken.

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Depending on the day of embarkation, the route may vary.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, sail to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
In the early morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package is included.
Then it's back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the opportunity to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Then the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).
Day 8:
Departure.

Location

The Sultan Bey is located directly on one of the many lagoons of El Gouna on a peninsula. The downtown area as well as numerous restaurants, bars, and shops are approximately 300m away. Surrounded by crystal-clear lagoons and beautiful sandy beaches, you'll immediately feel the holiday spirit. On the opposite island, Zeytouna, you'll find the beautiful public sandy beach "Zeytouna Beach" (bathing shoes recommended), which you can reach by free shuttle boat. A 400m long bathing jetty, the "Zeytouna Pier," facilitates access to deeper water. On "Zeytouna Island," you can use the à la carte restaurant and sports facilities for a fee. The resort is located about 25 km north of Hurghada. Hurghada Airport is approximately 40 km away.

Facilities

The small and cozy hotel complex is built in a classic Egyptian style. The hotel impresses with its beautiful courtyards and 115 elegantly furnished rooms spread across the main building and several annexes. The hotel has an inviting lobby with a reception and comfortable seating areas, as well as a lobby bar. For your culinary enjoyment, there is the main restaurant with a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the lagoon. The well-maintained outdoor area features a swimming pool (heated) with an integrated children's pool, as well as sun terraces and a pool/snackbar.
