Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all transfers in between. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Fridays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before is mandatory. The next possible embarkation is always used.

Notice

The travel package you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always provided for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

At 5 a.m., a hot air balloon ride is possible (optional, bookable on site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon trip to Edfu. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
3rd Day:
Morning cruise to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board and visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3).
Continue to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
4th Day:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Breakfast on board. Afterwards, the ship continues to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7th Day:
Breakfast. Afterwards, you have the opportunity to visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3).
Afterwards, the ship continues to Luxor.
Upon arrival, you have the opportunity to visit the East Bank with the Luxor Temple (1,2,3) and the Karnak Temple (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a Sound and Light Show at the Karnak Temple (optional, can be booked on site).

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence features a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and has a reception desk. Let yourself be spoiled with culinary delights in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. Starting Winter 2024/25, the ship will feature a small fitness studio, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the Sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² and feature shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same facilities as the suites, but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² and otherwise equipped the same as the suites, but with only one single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) have the same facilities as the suites but are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

The exclusive JAZ Aquamarine Resort is located directly on a long, very flat pebble/sand beach on the Red Sea in the Egyptian holiday resort of Hurghada. Families in particular will get their money's worth here. The perfect mix of relaxation and leisure opportunities as well as plenty of water fun leaves nothing to be desired and ensures an unforgettable holiday. The center of Hurghada is approx. 20 km away. The airport is approx. 17 km away.

Facilities

This 5-star hotel from the "JAZ" hotel chain offers a relaxing holiday for the whole family. The resort has 1001 rooms and suites spread throughout the complex. Hotel facilities include a spacious lobby with reception, a hairdresser, and a wellness area (for a fee). Culinary delights are provided by two main restaurants that pamper you with delicious international dishes (Note: The 2nd main restaurant "Four Corners" may be partially closed depending on hotel occupancy) and seven à-la-carte restaurants with Italian cuisine (Nino's), delicacies from the Middle East (Sofra), Asian (Makai Tukai), as well as Indian dishes (Amaya), plus a burger restaurant (Burger Bay) and a grill restaurant (reservation required for each; two specific restaurants per week are included, minimum stay 7 days). The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen Original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Double Superior rooms and have a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, thus offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Deluxe Family Room

The Deluxe Family rooms (2DF) are otherwise equipped the same as the Double Superior, but even more spacious (approx. 45 m²) and feature a queen-size bed as well as 2 sofa beds (180 x 80 cm) in the entrance area in a separated sleeping area.

Executive Suite

Royal Suite

With the same facilities as the Junior Suite, the elegant and spacious Royal Suites (RS, approx. 100 m²) feature a large furnished terrace with access to a shared pool, which is shared with two other rooms. An elegant bedroom with a queen bed and a cozy living area invite you to linger.
Rooms with direct access to the sharing pool do not have their own pool supervision and pose an increased hazard potential for small children and non-swimmers. The duty of supervision at the pool therefore lies with the parents/guardians.
