Route/Ship location

When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and the visit to the High Dam in Aswan. Of course, the excursion packages listed below can still be booked. ***************************************************** Embarkation: Thursday. Depending on the embarkation day, the route may vary. Route: Day 1: Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor. The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread over several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. There is also a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner available. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, which is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Meals

Suite

The nicely furnished Suites (S2) are approximately 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony. Also available for single occupancy (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the Suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks. The Royal Suites also have a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approximately 13 m² in size and otherwise equipped like the Suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise identical amenities to the Suites, and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

Located directly on the beautiful and long sandy beach of the idyllic Makadi Bay is the popular Iberotel Makadi Beach hotel. Experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea. The house reef grows to the shore in some places and offers very good diving and snorkeling conditions. Just a few meters from the hotel is the Makadi Souk, where you can look for souvenirs or enjoy oriental dishes in one of the nice restaurants. Hurghada is approx. 35 km to the north.

Facilities

The spacious complex with two-story units, stretching along the pool and garden landscape to the beach, leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel has 313 rooms, a welcoming lobby with a reception, a fun pub, and shops and boutiques. For your culinary well-being, there is a main restaurant and two à la carte restaurants, as well as an oriental restaurant. Further à la carte restaurants are available to guests in Madinat Makadi for a fee. In the extensive outdoor area, there is a swimming pool (heated in winter) and a swimming pool with an adjacent children's pool and waterfall, a sun terrace, a pool bar, and a pool restaurant. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge on the beach and by the pool.
