Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday, including all transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before is mandatory. The next available embarkation will always be taken.

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days as per the program. When booking the MS Nile Excellence, the following excursions are automatically included: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and a visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Facilities

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished outside cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Let yourself be pampered in the main restaurant and enjoy the cool drinks served by the three bars on board. Furthermore, a small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are available. From winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small gym that is freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your holiday perfect, you can relax on the sun loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool and enjoy the dreamlike view of the landscape along the Nile.

Suite

The friendly furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 m² in size and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and a French balcony.

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same facilities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 m²). The Royal Suites are located on the middle deck and upper deck.
In the Royal Suites, there is also a small table and two chairs on the balcony.

Single Suites

The single suites (S1) are approx. 13 m² in size and otherwise have the same facilities as the suites, but with only one single bed without a seating area.

Economy Suite

The economy suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 m²) with otherwise the same facilities as the suites, and possibly without a French balcony and without a seating area, but with a non-opening window.

The Steigenberger ALDAU Beach Hotel, particularly popular with regular guests, is located on the first beach line of Hurghada on one of the most popular coastal stretches in the region. The spacious facility is situated on a 400-meter-long private sandy beach with turquoise-blue water. Together with the two Steigenberger sister hotels, the resort is located directly on the „ALDAU Art Promenade“ with various shops, restaurants, and the Elements Club & Lounge. It is about 10 km to the lively center of Hurghada, known as "Sakalla". Hurghada Airport is approx. 6 km away.

Facilities

The spacious hotel is equipped with over 400 modern suites, the majority of which have a direct sea view. You can expect a luxurious and open-plan reception hall with a reception desk, seating areas, and two lobby bars.
