Combined package of a Nile cruise on the MS Nile Excellence and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. The following excursions are automatically included when booking the MS Nile Excellence: Valley of the Kings, Kom Ombo Temple, and the visit to the High Dam in Aswan.

Depending on the embarkation day, the itinerary may change.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Visit to the Luxor Museum in the afternoon (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
A hot air balloon ride is possible at 5 AM (optional, can be booked on-site).
In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to Hatshepsut's Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Departure for Edfu in the afternoon. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 3:
Continue sailing to Kom Ombo in the morning.
Lunch on board and visit to the double temple (1,2,3).
Continue sailing to Aswan, dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
In the morning, after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam (1,2,3).
Then, visit the Temple of Philae by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Felucca ride on the Nile in the afternoon (1,2,3).
Then, visit a Nubian village (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Early in the morning at 3:30 AM, opportunity for an excursion to Abu Simbel by bus (2,3), breakfast package included.
Then, we sail back to Kom Ombo.
Lunch on board. Overnight stay and dinner on board.
Day 6:
Breakfast on board. The ship then sails on to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Breakfast. You then have the option to visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3).
Afterwards, the ship sails on to Luxor.
Once there, you have the option to visit the East Bank with the Temple of Luxor (1,2,3) and the Temple of Karnak (1,2,3). There is an opportunity for a sound and light show at the Temple of Karnak (optional, can be booked on-site).
Day 8:
Departure.

The MS Nile Excellence has a total of 30 modernly furnished exterior cabins spread across several decks. The reception area is bright and elegantly designed and features a reception desk. Enjoy culinary delights in the main restaurant and savor cool drinks from the three bars on board. A small bazaar and a cozy reading corner are also available. From Winter 2024/25, the ship will have a small fitness studio, freely accessible to all guests on board. To make your vacation perfect, you can relax on the loungers on the sun deck or cool off in the pool while enjoying the fantastic view of the landscape along the Nile.

Meals

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner as a buffet or set menu.

Suite

The cheerfully furnished suites (S2) are approx. 24 sqm and feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, two single beds or one double bed, air conditioning (individually adjustable), minibar, safe, TV, telephone (for a fee), seating area, and French balcony.
Also available for single use (1SA).

Royal Suite

The Royal Suites (RS) have the same amenities as the suites but are larger (approx. 37 sqm). The Royal Suites are located on the middle and upper decks.
In the Royal Suites, the balcony also features a small table and two chairs.

Single Suite

The Single Suites (S1) are approx. 13 sqm and otherwise have the same amenities as the suites, but with only a single bed and no seating area.

Economy Suite

The Economy Suites (S2Z) are slightly smaller (approx. 21 sqm) with otherwise the same amenities as the suites, and may not have a French balcony and seating area, but rather a non-opening window.

The modern hotel complex (bookable for ages 16 and up) belongs to the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain and is the most luxurious hotel within it. Guests can indulge themselves in a luxurious ambiance at the resort. With its extravagant design and professional service, the hotel sets new standards. Furthermore, it offers the highest standard within the Pickalbatros hotel chain. The complex consists of a modern building complex with a total of 318 rooms. Facilities include a reception hall with a reception desk, three buffet restaurants (Italian, Indian, and Oriental) and an à la carte restaurant, various bars, and shops. The outdoor area features a large and well-maintained garden with four swimming pools (one of the pools is heated in winter) and two pool bars. Additionally, there is a heated indoor pool.

The Elite Rooms Side Sea View (EL2) have the same amenities as the Double Deluxe rooms, are larger (approx. 63-68 sqm). The rooms are located on the fourth or fifth floor.
Also available with sea view (2EM) and for single use (EL1/1EM).

Breakfast from 7-9:30 AM, late riser's breakfast from 9:30-11 AM, lunch from 12:30-3 PM and sunset lunch from 3-5 PM, and dinner from 7-9:30 PM, each served buffet-style in the main restaurant "Alfredo".
Alternatively, dinner can also be taken in one of the other buffet restaurants (Italian, Oriental, Asian). Reservations are required in advance for dinner at the Golden Lounge à la carte restaurant. Late dinner at the Blue Lounge buffet restaurant from 10 PM to midnight.
