Product information

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the Nile Majestic Dahabiya and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding date will always be taken.

Itinerary:
Day 1
Arrival and embarkation
Rest of the day at leisure, including meals and overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 2
 In the early morning, you have the option of a hot air balloon ride.
 Breakfast followed by a visit to the West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3).
Return to the boat for lunch. Tea time during the sailing.
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay on an island near Luxor.
Day 3
 Sailing to Edfu. Breakfast and lunch during the sailing.
 Visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3), followed by sailing to Ramady Island.
Dinner, followed by entertainment and overnight stay on board.
Day 4
In the morning, sailing from Ramady Island to Bassaw Island.
Upon arrival at Bassaw Island, enjoy a one-hour walk through green fields and discover the traditional life of the locals.
Breakfast on board during the sailing.
Arrival in Kom Ombo with an optional visit to the unusual double temple of Sobek and Horus (1,2,3).
 Back on board, enjoy lunch while sailing to Hor Diab Island.
Upon arrival at Hor Diab Island, there is an opportunity for a swim in the Nile.
Dinner on board with entertainment and overnight stay in Aswan.
Day 5
Breakfast followed by an optional visit to the High Dam and the Temple of Philae (1,2,3), then a Felucca ride (1,2,3) on the Nile
as well as an optional visit to the Nubian village (3).
 Lunch on board.
Optional participation in the Sound and Light show at the Temple of Philae (starts at 7:00 PM).
Dinner, entertainment, and overnight stay.
Day 6
 Optional excursion to the temples of Abu Simbel with breakfast box included (2,3).
Breakfast on board for guests not participating in the Abu Simbel excursion.
 Lunch and subsequent tea time during the return journey to Esna (approx. 14 hours sailing).
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay in Esna.
Day 7
 Breakfast and lunch on board, sailing from Esna to Luxor (approx. 6 hours).
 Arrival in Luxor, visit to the East Bank: Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3), city tour and visit to the oriental bazaar.
 Optional excursion to the Luxor Museum (3).
Dinner, entertainment, and overnight stay on board.
Day 8
Breakfast on board and departure.

The Nile Majestic Dahabiya is a 58 m long ship with two upper decks and a sun deck. All cabins offer direct Nile views.
The design combines pharaonic elegance with classic style - inspired by antiquity to the era of King Farouk. The ship has 16 cabins distributed over two decks. On board, you will find an elegant buffet restaurant, cozy relaxation areas, such as a reading corner, and a spacious sun deck with a pool and a cozy bar.

No alcoholic beverages sold on board.

Entertainment

Location

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a 1,500-meter long, beautifully landscaped lagoon with a private beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. From Zeytouna Beach, a long jetty extends into the Red Sea. From there, you can experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling. The center of El Gouna is approx. 350 m away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 25 kilometers away.

The complex, built in a Nubian village style, impresses with its cozy atmosphere, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and features 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and welcoming reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas. Outdoors, there are four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two small slides, aqua splash pool with four different water slides, dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. Four children's pools are also available for the little ones, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools has small slides and water features. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and on the hotel's private beach. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars.

Double Room Comfort (DK2)

The tastefully furnished rooms (approx. 21 sqm) have been fully renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, kettle with tea/coffee making facilities, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool and garden views. Also available for single occupancy (DK1).

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 28 sqm), these rooms offer pool/garden or lagoon views. Also available for single occupancy (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The cozy family rooms have the same features as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 sqm).

Double Room Superior

The newly bookable Superior rooms (DSU, 28 sqm) have been renovated and offer a choice of different views, depending on the room's location in the hotel – either overlooking the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different types of beds: a generous king-size bed or two single beds, depending on your preference. The rooms have free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea/coffee making facilities.
Also bookable for 3 people (TDS) and for single occupancy (DSE).

Double Room Superior Plus

The rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 sqm) with similar amenities to the Double Room Superior. The rooms have been renovated and are newly bookable.
