Location

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a beautifully landscaped 1,500-meter lagoon with its own stretch of beach in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. From Zeytouna Beach, a long jetty leads out into the Red Sea. Experience the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling there. The center of El Gouna is about 350 m away. Hurghada Airport is about 25 kilometers away.

Built in a Nubian village style, the complex impresses with a cozy atmosphere, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and has 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the complex. The outdoor area features four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two small slides, splash pool with four different water slides, dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. There are also four children's pools for the little guests, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools has small slides and water features. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and on the hotel's own beach. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars.

Double Room Comfort (DK2)

The tastefully furnished rooms (approx. 21 sqm) have been fully renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, kettle and coffee/tea making facilities, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool and garden view. Also available for single occupancy (DK1).

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms are more spacious (approx. 28 sqm) and offer pool/garden or lagoon views. Also available for single occupancy (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The cozy family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 sqm).

Double Room Superior

The newly bookable Superior rooms (DSU, 28 sqm) have been renovated and offer a choice of different views, depending on the room's location in the hotel – either garden view or refreshing pool view. The rooms are equipped with two types of beds: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, as desired. The rooms have free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle and tea/coffee making facilities.

Double Room Superior Plus

The rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 sqm) with similar amenities to the Double Rooms Superior. The rooms have been renovated and are newly bookable.

The main restaurant "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (7-10 AM), lunch (1-3 PM) and dinner (6-9 PM) in buffet form. Additionally, the restaurant offers tea time with various snacks from 4-5 PM. Furthermore, several specialty restaurants are available: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (7:30-11 AM buffet style), lunch (11 AM-3 PM à la carte for a fee) and in the evening (6-9 PM à la carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at noon (12-3 PM à la carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian dishes (6:30-9 PM à la carte) and "Chez Pascal" with a selection of various specialties (6:30-9 PM à la carte for a fee on Fridays). Soft drinks, hot beverages, and local alcoholic drinks are offered to guests until midnight at six different bars, including the All-Inclusive Bar, Sunset Bar, Dolphin Bar, Lagoon Bar, Lounge Bar, and Peanuts Bar, which is open until midnight and offers various entertainment and activities.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program offers guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants at other hotels – at no extra cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer multiple times: 1x for stays of four nights or more, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight nights or more. Guests from 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Combined product of a Nile cruise on the Nile Majestic Dahabiya and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must start at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding will always be taken.

In the early morning, you have the option of an optional hot air balloon ride.
Breakfast followed by a visit to the West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3).
Return to the boat for lunch. Tea time during the cruise.
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay on an island near Luxor.
Day 3
Continue sailing to Edfu. Breakfast and lunch during the cruise.
Visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3), then continue sailing to Ramady Island.
Dinner, followed by entertainment and overnight on board.
Day 4
In the morning, continue from Ramady Island to Bassaw Island.
Upon arrival at Bassaw Island, enjoy a one-hour walk through green fields and discover the traditional life of the locals.

The Nile Majestic Dahabiya is a 58m long ship with two upper decks and a sun deck. All cabins offer a direct Nile view.
The design combines pharaonic elegance with classic style - inspired by antiquity to the era of King Farouk. The ship has 16 cabins distributed over two decks. Onboard, you will find an elegant buffet restaurant, cozy retreat areas such as a reading corner, and a spacious sun deck with a swimming pool and a comfortable bar.
