Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before is mandatory. The next possible embarkation is always taken.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
Sightseeing of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 am hot air balloon trip (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
3rd Day:
Sightseeing of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
4th Day:
Departure from Esna.
After that, continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides for your physical well-being with delicious dishes. The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

The beautiful hotel complex is located right in the heart of Makadi Bay next to the popular sister hotel "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" (HRG223). The holiday resort is located on the first beach row at the most beautiful snorkeling and diving spots of the Bay, thus offering the opportunity to explore the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea directly from the shallow, sloping beach.
It is approx. 37 km to the city center of Hurghada. Hurghada Airport is approx. 32 km away.

Facilities

The schauinsland-reisen-original hotel was built in an elegant Bohemian style and has 240 rooms and suites spread over several building complexes. With its unique and high-quality meal concept, the hotel stands out in Egypt and offers you a selection of a total of three of its own à la carte restaurants ("Lucina" - international cuisine, "Gaia" - Italian cuisine as well as "Yades" - Greek cuisine) for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The à la carte restaurant "Posh Club Lounge" is available exclusively to Posh Club members and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition, guests of the "SUNRISE Tucana Resort Grand Select" have free use of the eight à la carte restaurants of the sister hotel "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" with a varied selection in the evening. The Felucca, which offers fish and seafood, is for a fee. Furthermore, there are a total of eight different bars available. The "Posh Club Lounge" is only available to members of the Posh Club. Lexi Swim Up Suite Poolview

The Lexi Swim Up Suite (SWP) is larger (approx. 43 m²) with the same equipment as the superior double rooms. The rooms have a terrace with access to the swim-up communal pool. There is a dining table and two separate sun loungers on the terrace.
Rooms with direct access to the sharing pool do not have their own pool surveillance and pose an increased risk potential for small children and non-swimmers. The supervisory duty at the pool therefore lies with the legal guardians.

Superior double room

The pleasantly furnished rooms (DSU, approx. 35 m²) are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), Wi-Fi, safe, minibar, and balcony or terrace.

The junior suites Jacuzzi (2JJ, approx. 36 m²) have the same equipment as the superior double rooms, but with a private Jacuzzi outside on the terrace.

The unique meal concept offers you breakfast from 7 am to 10:30 am, lunch from 1 pm to 4 pm, and dinner from 7 pm to 10 pm in one of the hotel's three à la carte restaurants ("Lucina", "Gaia", "Yades"). As a Posh Club member (booked suite), you also have the option to have your breakfast exclusively in the "Posh Club Lounge". Sparkling wine breakfast is included for you in all four restaurants. In addition, dinner can optionally be taken in the buffet restaurant or in one of the eight different à la carte restaurants of the "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" (Mexican, Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Steak, Diet and Light, Bedouin restaurant).
