Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all connecting transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The next available embarkation is always utilized.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre-cruise and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Itinerary

Embarkation: Thursday
The itinerary may shift depending on the day of embarkation.
Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, sightseeing of the East Bank, the Karnak Temple and the Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late in the evening, departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Then proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay will take place.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Departure to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight on board.
Day 8:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

Single Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Cook's Club El Gouna

Location

The beautiful adults-only hotel is located in the heart of El Gouna, right on a lovely saltwater lagoon with a small private beach. The small "Downtown" center with its colorful arcades, restaurants, bars, cafés, and shops is just a few minutes' walk away (also accessible by a manually operated ferry). Various shopping opportunities are also in the immediate vicinity. Guests have free access to the beautiful "Zeytouna Beach" on "Zeytouna Island," 700 m away. At the beach, a roughly 400 m long jetty, the "Zeytouna Pier," leads over the reef into deeper water. Explore the breathtaking coral reef from here while snorkeling. The resort is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada. The distance to Hurghada airport is about 40 km.

Ausstattung

The modern and charismatic lifestyle hotel (bookable from 16 years of age) delights with a very special style and consists of a three-story main building as well as several outbuildings where the total of 144 elegantly furnished rooms are distributed. The hotel offers its guests a small lobby with a reception. The stylish "La Cantina" restaurant, including an outdoor terrace with a view of the lagoon, features a live cooking station and provides you with delicious specialties.
