Travel information

Combined product featuring a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most economical available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The next possible embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The stay at the hotel before and after the cruise depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1. Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. hot air balloon trip (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
3. Day:
Tour of the West Bank. Morning after breakfast excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
4. Day:
Continue sailing from Esna.
Then on to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.

Morning after breakfast visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).

The newly built hotel impresses with its particularly luxurious atmosphere and is located in the beautiful bay of Abu Soma, directly on a 300 m long private beach. The beach captivates with its white sand and the wonderful view over the crystal-clear water of the bay. The nearest town, Safaga, can be reached after approx. 20 km and offers some shopping opportunities, restaurants, and bars. It is approx. 55 km to Hurghada Downtown. Hurghada Airport is approx. 50 km away.

Facilities

The stylish and luxurious resort has 409 generously furnished rooms. The elegant lobby is equipped with a reception and promises an unforgettable holiday as soon as you step inside. The buffet restaurant pampers you with international delicacies. For culinary variety, the "Dine Around" concept offers four à-la-carte restaurants where you can enjoy Asian, oriental, and Italian specialties as well as Mediterranean cuisine (reservation required). The schauinsland-original rooms are modernly furnished (DSP, approx. 50m²) and feature a king-size bed or two single beds, a large bathroom with rain shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), cosmetic mirror, bathrobe and slippers, air conditioning, coffee/tea maker (daily free replenishment), minibar (water is replenished daily. The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen-Original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior double rooms and have a sea view. The rooms offer a frontal sea view and are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel.

Double room Superior Grand side sea view

The Superior rooms type B (DSB) are approx. 50 m² in size and feature a queen-size bed and a seating area that can be converted into a bed. The rooms are equipped with a bathroom, air conditioning, safe, minibar (water is replenished daily. Everything else for a fee), and a hairdryer. This room type accommodates 2 adults and 1 child. The rooms are located on the first and second floors and have a side sea view.
Also bookable for single use (E1S) or with pool and sea view (GD2/G1D).

Family room Deluxe pool and sea view

The Family rooms Deluxe (F2D) are approx. 60 m² in size and feature either a king-size bed or two single beds. These rooms are larger and have two rooms, a master bedroom, and a seating area that can be converted into beds, with bathrooms featuring a rain shower as well as a separate WC and hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, bathrobes, and slippers. Additionally, there is a large separate dressing room with large mirrors. A smart TV with cable/satellite channels, two direct-dial telephones, and a safe are also available in the room. The Executive suites (X2S) have the same equipment as the Superior rooms side sea view but are larger (approx. 120 m²), have a bathtub and shower in the bathroom, and feature a private swim-up pool. The minibar is replenished daily with water free of charge (soft drinks for a fee).

The villas (V22) with two bedrooms have a size of approx. 350 m² and are equipped with a queen-size bed and two single beds. They offer air conditioning, an open bathroom with Jacuzzi, and an enclosed garden with an outdoor shower (rain shower), hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, and beach/pool towels.
Additionally, the villas have a separate living and seating area, a dressing room with full-body mirrors, a fully equipped kitchen (incl. ice maker, refrigerator, stove, and espresso machine), smart TV with cable and satellite reception, minibar, safe, and telephone.
