Travel Information

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The earliest possible boarding will always be taken.

Notice

The travel package you have selected is 14 days long and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship will always be for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the boarding day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and boarding. In the afternoon, visit the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon trip (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple, and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit the West Bank. In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Departure from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will also spend the night.

In the morning, after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).

The ship has a friendly reception area and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious meals for your culinary enjoyment. Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single occupancy (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

These cabins have the same amenities as the standard cabins but are slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and have only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Steigenberger Resort Ras Soma

Location

Several thatched huts with lounge chairs are on a sandy beach under a blue sky.
The newly built hotel impresses with its particularly luxurious atmosphere and is located in the beautiful Abu Soma bay, directly on the 300 m long private beach. The beach boasts white sand and beautiful views of the crystal-clear water of the bay. The nearest town, Safaga, is about 20 km away and offers some shopping opportunities, restaurants, and bars. Hurghada downtown is about 55 km away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 50 km away.

Facilities

The stylish and luxurious resort has 409 generously furnished rooms. The elegant lobby is equipped with a reception and promises an unforgettable holiday from the moment you enter. The buffet restaurant spoils you with international delicacies. For culinary variety, there is the "Dine Around" with four à la carte restaurants where you can enjoy Asian, Oriental, and Italian specialties as well as Mediterranean cuisine (reservations required). Superior Double Room Pool View - Advantage Room

The schauinsland original rooms are modernly furnished (DSP, approx. 50m²) and feature a king-size bed or two single beds, a large bathroom with rain shower/WC, hairdryer, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), cosmetic mirror, bathrobe and slippers, air conditioning, coffee/tea maker (daily free refill), minibar (water is refilled daily. Everything else for a fee), safe (included), balcony or terrace.
When booking this room, guests will receive the following additional amenities:

Superior Double Room Front Sea View Top Floor

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Superior Double Rooms and offer a sea view. The rooms have a frontal sea view and are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel.

Superior Double Room Grand Side Sea View

The Superior Room Type B (DSB) are approx. 50 m² in size and feature a queen-size bed and a sitting area that can be converted into a bed. The rooms are equipped with a bathroom, air conditioning, safe, minibar (water refilled daily. Everything else for a fee), and a hairdryer. This room type can accommodate 2 adults and 1 child. The rooms are located on the first and second floors and have a side sea view.
Also bookable for single occupancy (E1S) or with pool and sea view (GD2/G1D).

Deluxe Family Room Pool and Sea View

The Deluxe Family Rooms (F2D) are approx. 60 m² and have either a king-size bed or two single beds. These rooms are larger and have two rooms, a master bedroom, and a seating area that can be converted into beds, with bathrooms featuring a rain shower and separate WC and hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, bathrobes, and slippers. There is also a large separate dressing room with full-length mirrors. A smart TV with cable/satellite TV channels, two direct-dial telephones, and a safe are also provided in the room. The Executive Suites (X2S) have the same amenities as the Superior Side Sea View rooms, but are larger (approx. 57 m²), have a bathtub and shower in the bathroom, and feature a private swim-up pool. The minibar is refilled daily with water free of charge (soft drinks at a charge). An espresso coffee machine is available.

Villa 2 Bedrooms

The villas (V22) with two bedrooms are approximately 350 m² in size and are equipped with a queen-size bed and two single beds. They offer air conditioning, an open-plan bathroom with a Jacuzzi, and a private garden with an outdoor shower (rain shower), hairdryer, bathrobes, slippers, and beach and pool towels.
Additionally, the villas feature a separate living and seating area, a dressing room with full-length mirrors, a fully equipped kitchen (including ice maker, refrigerator, stove, and espresso machine), smart TV with cable and satellite reception, minibar, safe, and telephone.
