Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The earliest possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the itinerary. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will also spend the night.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay on board.
Day 5:
Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then the opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Travel to Kom Ombo with a visit to the Double Temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit the Temple of Edfu (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.

Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship features a welcoming reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your culinary well-being. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

Single Cabin

Jacuzzi Suite

The approx. 50 m² (incl. 4 m² balcony/terrace) Jacuzzi suites (S2J) feature a couple's Jacuzzi, shower, WC, vanity mirror, air conditioning, safe, minibar (daily replenishment with water, juice, beer, soft drinks), smart TV with German channels, coffee and tea making facilities, as well as a swing chair on the terrace.

Pure Standard Suite Jacuzzi

The approx. 27 m² Pure Standard suites (SAJ) are slightly smaller, with similar features to the Jacuzzi suites. Some suites have a small balcony with visual screening or a terrace and are located on the land side.

Swim Up Suite

The Swim Up suites (2SU) have similar features to the Jacuzzi suites, but offer direct access to the terrace pool (this is heated in winter) and are more spacious at approx. 50 m² (incl. 4 m² terrace).

Penthouse

The penthouse suites (P2) located on the upper floors are equipped like the Jacuzzi suites but are more spacious at approx. 107 m² (incl. 16 m² balcony), with their own living room, private pool (heated in winter), and a breathtaking view over the Red Sea.

Super saver room

The super saver rooms (SSZ) are approx. 27 m² and are equipped with shower/WC, espresso machine, TV, Wi-Fi, vanity mirror, safe. The rooms do not have a Jacuzzi, have no balcony, and are located on the land side.
