Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all inter-hotel transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be used.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay in the hotel depends on your day of arrival and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Sightseeing on the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, excursion by balloon (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, sightseeing of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Sightseeing on the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.

Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).

You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Departure to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The offer is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to browse and explore. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and have a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Cabin for 1 person

Equipped the same as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The luxury resort is located directly on the hotel's own beach, with a unique house reef, in the exclusive holiday area of Sahl Hasheesh. With its fascinating underwater world, the reef invites you to go diving and snorkeling. Two beautifully man-made lagoons as well as a natural lagoon provide rest and relaxation. Hurghada Airport is approx. 25 km away. The center of Hurghada with numerous restaurants, bars, shopping, and entertainment options is approx. 30 km away (taxi for a fee).

Facilities

The resort, built from natural coral stone on a hillside, features 552 rooms spread across eight buildings. The hotel has its own small marina and a private beach. Facilities include a spacious, cozy lobby with reception, a beauty salon with hairdresser, several souvenir shops, as well as a Starbucks (for a fee). Six different restaurants take care of culinary well-being ("Star Fish" for a fee). Cool refreshments are served in eight different bars. The Shisha bar with water pipes rounds off the diverse offer (for a fee).

Double room sea view

The approx. 36-58 m² modernly furnished double rooms with sea view (DM,MBB) feature a shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, Wi-Fi, safe, satellite TV, minibar (incl. water and soft drinks), coffee/tea maker, individually controlled air conditioning, balcony or terrace. Double rooms can also be booked for single use (DEM). All double rooms have a sea view.

Double room (HRGA29)

The double rooms are similar in equipment to the double rooms with sea view, but do not have a sea view (D). Also bookable for single occupancy (DE).

Double Deluxe sea view

The approx. 60 m² Double Deluxe with sea view (DM2) offer the same equipment as the Double room sea view with balcony or terrace. The Double Deluxe rooms are located in buildings 6, 7, and 8 on the ground floor and also feature a sea view. Also bookable for single use (DM1).

The family rooms with sea view (F2M) are approx. 60 m² and feature two bedrooms, a bathroom, as well as a walk-in closet. Equipped like the Double room sea view.

Double room Superior Swim up sea view

The spacious Swim Up rooms (2MW) are approx. 58 m² and are modernly furnished, featuring a shower/WC, hairdryer, telephone, Wi-Fi, safe, satellite TV, minibar (incl. water and soft drinks), coffee/tea maker, individually controlled air conditioning, terrace, and access to a sharing pool (bookable from 16 years old). Double room Executive (HRGA29)

These Executive rooms are approx. 57 m² and feature similar equipment to the Double room sea view, however, these offer a Swim Up terrace (EXD).

Double room sea view Type A (HRGA29)

These rooms are only bookable for adults from 12 years old and are approx. 35 m². Equipment includes air conditioning, TV, telephone, safe for rent, minibar (for a fee), and a balcony with sea view (DMA).
