Travel information

Combo product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be used.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
3. Day:
Tour of the West Bank. Morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
4. Day:
Continue from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where you will stay overnight.

Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

The ship features a welcoming reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your well-being. The offerings are complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small porthole.

Single cabin

The Cleopatra Luxury Resort is located directly on the picturesque, expansive sandy beach of Makadi Bay, about 30 kilometers south of Hurghada. This region is a true paradise for divers and snorkelers. Since the access to the sea near the shore is rocky, wearing water shoes is recommended. A hotel-owned jetty leads over the offshore reef into deeper water, allowing for convenient entry into the sea. From there, you can experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea up close. The vibrant city center of Hurghada, with its numerous restaurants, bars, and shops, is about 35 kilometers away and offers diverse entertainment options. The international airport in Hurghada is also only 30 kilometers away, ensuring a convenient arrival.

Facilities

The spacious Cleopatra Luxury Resort is idyllically set in a generous garden area. In this magnificent environment, there are several two- to three-story buildings housing a total of 531 comfortably furnished rooms. Guests are welcomed in a friendly and spacious lobby with a reception and lobby bar, which features cozy seating areas for relaxation. Culinary delights are provided by the buffet restaurant "Soko," offering international and local cuisine, as well as two exquisite à la carte restaurants: "Vista Mare," with Italian specialties, and the "Pool Restaurant," with fresh fish and seafood dishes. An oriental café with a shisha corner and a pub, where cocktails and music ensure a pleasant atmosphere, round off the gastronomic offerings. At the pool bar, guests can refresh themselves with a variety of drinks, while various small shops on the premises invite you to a relaxed stroll. In the resort's extensive garden area, there are six beautifully designed swimming pools, one of which is heatable, as well as a separate children's pool and generous sun terraces. Sun loungers, parasols, and bath towels are provided to guests free of charge at both the pools and the beach, ensuring nothing stands in the way of a relaxing day in the sun.

Superior double room

The superior double rooms (DSU) are approx. 35 m² and are equipped with a shower, individually adjustable air conditioning/heating, safe, telephone, flat-screen TV, hairdryer, cosmetic mirror, and minibar and feature a balcony or terrace with garden view.
Can also be booked with a sea view (DMU) or for single occupancy (DEU/UME) for an extra charge.

Family room

The family rooms (DF2) are approx. 77 m² and feature a double bed as well as two twin beds. The rooms have two separate bedrooms, separated by a connecting door. There is also a bathroom with shower/WC, air conditioning, safe, TV, hairdryer, and a balcony or terrace.

Junior suite

The junior suites (JS2) feature similar equipment elements as the superior double rooms, but are more spacious (approx. 65 m²) and offer an open living area and sea view.

The lobby bar is open 24 hours, the "Vista Mare" pub from 3 PM to 1 AM, the pool bar from 9 AM to 7 PM, and the "Half Way Bar" from 10 AM until sunset.
Upon arrival, the minibar is stocked once with local soft drinks. Water is replenished daily.

Sports included

The Cleopatra Luxury Resort offers an impressive variety of sports activities for its guests. Tennis can be played for a fee for equipment and floodlighting. Further sports opportunities include table tennis, a well-equipped fitness room, bocce, basketball, mini-soccer, volleyball, billiards, and darts.

Sports for a fee

On the beach, there is a water sports station with various offers, including, for example, windsurfing. Additionally, a diving station (Extra-Divers) offers introductory diving, diving courses, and much more. For guests who prefer to be active on land, archery is also offered.

For our little guests, the resort offers two covered children's pools (heatable in winter), a playground, as well as a Kidsclub for children aged 4 to 12. A daily mini-disco (except Sundays) ensures evening entertainment. In the main restaurant, special children's meals are offered from 12 PM to 1 PM and from 6 PM to 8 PM, ensuring that the young guests are also well catered for culinarily.

Wellness

The hotel's own "Cleo-Spa" is equipped with three saunas, a whirlpool, relaxation areas, and a larger outdoor pool. Guests can book various treatments such as hammam and massages. Additionally, the beauty salon offers a variety of beauty treatments. Access to the spa area is partly subject to a fee, as are massages and other special treatments.
