Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
3. Day:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
4. Day:
Continue from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.

In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your well-being. The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Cabin single occupancy

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

SUNRISE Select Garden Beach Resort

Location

The spacious hotel complex is located directly on its own 400 m long sandy beach. There is a jetty on the beach that makes entering deeper water easier and creates the perfect conditions for snorkeling. From here, guests can explore the beautiful and diverse underwater world of the Red Sea. The nearest shopping center, Senzo Mall, is approx. 300 m away. The center of Hurghada is about 20 km away, and the international airport of Hurghada is about 15 km away.

In the popular 5-star family resort, you will experience water fun for the whole family! The complex is embedded in a beautiful and generously landscaped garden. Spend a great family holiday and enjoy Egyptian hospitality. This hotel complex, especially popular with regular guests, has 483 comfortably furnished rooms spread over several three-story buildings. In the main building are the reception, the Sun Ray Lobby Bar, and the Giardino buffet restaurant. The spacious and well-kept garden area offers a large pool landscape consisting of three freshwater pools (Moroccan Pool, Aqua Pool, and children's pool with slides; can be heated in winter). A highlight of the resort is the hotel's own aquapark with twelve different water slides (usage from 1.20 m) and a separate area with two children's slides (octopus, snake), which will make the hearts of big and small water lovers beat faster.
In addition to the buffet restaurant, the resort offers five delicious à-la-carte restaurants (Italian, Egyptian, Mongolian, burgers, fusion cuisine (for a fee), reservation required) as well as four other à-la-carte restaurants at the sister hotel "SENTIDO Mamlouk Palace", which can also be used free of charge (reservation required for each). The 45 m² tastefully furnished Superior double rooms (D) feature telephone, bathroom with shower or bathtub/WC, hairdryer, coffee/tea maker, seating area, minibar (daily refill with water, once per week refill with soft drinks), air conditioning, safe, TV, balcony or terrace.
Alternatively available with pool view (DSP) or side sea view (D2S) or for single use (DE, ESP, 1SD). Also bookable as Type I (DI) with special price, limited availability.

Super saver rooms

The super saver rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the Superior double rooms, but have limited availability and a special price.

Deluxe double rooms

The Deluxe double rooms (DD2/DD1) have the same amenities as the double rooms, are also approx. 45 m² and additionally feature a king-size bed or two single beds, a seating area with side table, and a vanity table.
Alternatively bookable with pool view (DPB/DPE) or side sea view (DDS/EDD) as well as Type I (DDI) at a special price, limited availability.

Katta family rooms

The Katta family rooms (KWF) with bunk beds can be booked as Schauinsland-Reisen original rooms and appear freshly renovated in the Katta style (bookable under KWF and DF2).
The rooms feature additional amenities for the little ones, such as a Katta-style loft bed, a Katta play corner with beanbags and a small table with chairs, as well as an extra Smart TV with HDMI connection and Katta's height chart on the wall. Furthermore, the sockets are equipped with child locks. In the bathrooms, there are towel holders at child height as well as a step in front of the sink. With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms are also approx. 45 m².
Also bookable as a double room (FR2).
For 2 adults and 3 children, limited space is available.

Katta family suites

The family suites (2FS/FMK) can be booked as Schauinsland-Reisen original rooms and are renovated.
The suites are approx. 75 m² and consist of two separate bedrooms with a master bedroom with a king-size bed and another bedroom with two single beds, which are separated from each other by a hallway. Both rooms have their own bathroom with a shower. The double rooms with a king-size bed are equipped analogously to the double rooms and feature a Smart TV with HDMI connection. The rooms with two single beds feature a special light display, a chest of drawers with a Smart TV and HDMI connection, as well as a chill-out area with a beanbag. The sockets are equipped with child locks; the bathrooms feature a step as well as towel holders at child height.
Please note that Katta and his friends are not graphically represented in Katta's family suites.
The family suites can also be occupied by 4 adults.

Junior suites

The junior suites (JS2) are approx. 80 m² and consist of a living/bedroom with extra sleeping possibilities and a separate bedroom. The rooms also feature a bathroom with a bathtub and a terrace.
Also bookable for single use (JS1).

Beach front

The beach front rooms (BF2) feature the same amenities as the double rooms, but are located in the first row on the beach and have a sea view.

Katta's Miniclub is ready for the little guests (3-12 years) and offers play and fun. This includes a general area with various games, a PlayStation room with a selection of various PlayStation games, as well as a sleeping and chill-out room for the kids' afternoon nap. In the evening, a children's cinema is available to the children in the Miniclub. Painting and cooking classes as well as sports activities round off the program. Furthermore, a playground, Katta's children's buffet corner in the main restaurant, and a mini-aquapark with a pool are available for the little ones.
