Travel information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the most favorable available room category. Boarding is always on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding date will always be used.

Notice

The selected travel package has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship always takes place for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the boarding day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, optional balloon excursion (can be booked locally).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak Temple and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning, after breakfast, excursion to Thebes West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening sailing to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Sailing from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay will take place.

In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).

Then opportunity for a visit to a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins distributed across several decks. The main restaurant with delicious dishes caters to your culinary needs. This is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to browse and shop. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and have a bathroom with bath/toilet, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
Cabins are also available for single use (K1 or KA1).

Economy Cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small round window.

Single Occupancy Cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Location

The extensive hotel complex is located directly on the hotel's own 400m long sandy beach. There is a jetty on the beach that facilitates entry into deeper water and offers perfect conditions for snorkeling. From here, guests can explore the beautiful and diverse underwater world of the Red Sea. The nearest shopping center, Senzo Mall, is about 300m away. The center of Hurghada is about 20km away, and Hurghada International Airport is about 15km away.

Experience water fun for the whole family in the popular 5-star family resort! The complex is nestled in a beautiful and spacious garden landscape. Spend a great family holiday and enjoy Egyptian hospitality. The hotel complex, particularly popular with regular guests, has 483 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several three-story buildings. The main building houses the reception, the Sun Ray lobby bar, and the Giardino buffet restaurant. The extensive and well-maintained garden offers a generous pool landscape consisting of three freshwater pools (Moroccan Pool, Aqua Pool, and Children's Pool with slides; heated in winter). A highlight of the resort is the hotel's own water park with twelve different water slides (usable from 1.20m) and a separate area with two children's slides (Octopus, Snake) will make the hearts of young and old water lovers beat faster.

The tastefully furnished 45 m² Superior Double Rooms (D) feature a telephone, bathroom with shower or bathtub/toilet, hairdryer, coffee and tea making facilities, seating area, minibar (daily refilled with water, soft drinks refilled once a week), air conditioning, safe, TV, balcony, or terrace.
Also available as an option with pool view (DSP) or side sea view (D2S) or for single use (DE, ESP, 1SD). Also bookable as type I (DI) with a special price, limited availability.

The Deluxe Double Rooms (DD2/DD1) have the same amenities as the standard double rooms, are also approx. 45 m² in size, and additionally feature a king-size bed or two twin beds, a sitting area with a side table, and a dressing table.

Katta Family Room

The Katta Family Rooms (KWF) with bunk beds are bookable as schauinsland-reisen original rooms and appear freshly renovated in Katta style (bookable as KWF and DF2).
The rooms feature additional amenities for the little ones, such as a Katta-style bunk bed, a Katta play area with beanbags and a small table with chairs, and an extra smart TV with HDMI connection and Katta's height chart on the wall. The sockets are also equipped with child safety locks. The bathrooms have towel racks at child height and a step stool in front of the sink. With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms are also approx. 45 m² in size.
Also bookable as a double room (FR2).
With 2 adults and 3 children, space is limited.

Katta Family Suite

The Family Suites (2FS/FMK) are bookable as schauinsland-reisen original rooms and are renovated.
The suites are approx. 75 m² in size and consist of two separate bedrooms with a master bedroom with a king-size bed and another bedroom with two single beds, separated by a hallway. Both rooms have their own bathroom with a shower. The double rooms with a king-size bed are equipped analogously to the double rooms and have a smart TV with HDMI connection. The rooms with two single beds feature special lighting effects, a dresser with a smart TV and HDMI connection, and a chill-out area with a beanbag. The sockets are equipped with child safety locks, and the bathrooms have a step stool and child-sized towel racks.
Please note that Katta and his friends are not graphically represented in Katta's family suites.
The family suites can also accommodate 4 adults.

The Junior Suites (JS2) are approx. 80 m² in size and consist of a living/sleeping area with extra sleeping arrangements and a separate bedroom. The rooms also have a bathroom with a bathtub and a terrace.
Also available for single use (JS1).

Beach Front

The Beach Front rooms (BF2) have the same amenities as the double rooms, but are located in the first row on the beach and have a sea view.

Katta's Mini Club is available for younger guests (ages 3-12) in German and offers fun and games with Katta and his friends. This includes a general area with various games, a PlayStation room with a selection of PlayStation games, and a nap and chill-out room for the children's afternoon sleep. In the evening, a children's cinema is available for the kids in the Mini Club. Craft and cooking classes as well as sports activities round off the program. In addition, there is a playground for the little ones, Katta's children's buffet corner in the main restaurant, and a mini water park with a pool. Katta offers a special highlight with his garden: Here, the little ones can expect various vegetables that Katta takes care of with the young guests.
Babysitting service is available for a fee.

Wellness
