Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before the cruise is mandatory. The next available embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre-cruise and post-cruise hotel stay depends on your arrival day and the day of embarkation. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

1st Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2nd Day:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m., excursion by balloon (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, the Karnak Temple, and the Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
3rd Day:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late in the evening, cruise to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
4th Day:
Continue journey from Esna.
Then on to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.
Lunch and dinner, as well as an overnight stay on board.
5th Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
6th Day:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Cruise to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7th Day:
Continue cruise to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.
8th Day:
Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins, which are distributed over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your physical well-being. The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and have a small circular window.

Single cabin

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The Sultan Bey is located directly on one of the many lagoons of El Gouna on a peninsula. The downtown area as well as numerous restaurants, bars, and shopping facilities are approx. 300 m away. Surrounded by crystal-clear lagoons and beautiful sandy beaches, a holiday atmosphere sets in immediately. On the opposite island, Zeytouna, you will find the beautiful public sandy beach "Zeytouna Beach" (bathing shoes recommended), which you can reach with the free shuttle boat. A 400 m long jetty, the "Zeytouna Pier," makes accessing deeper water easier here. On "Zeytouna Island," you can use the a-la-carte restaurant and sports facilities for a fee. The resort is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada. The Hurghada airport is approx. 40 km away.

The small and cozy hotel complex is built in a classic Egyptian style. The hotel delights with both beautiful inner courtyards and 115 elegantly furnished rooms, which are spread over the main building and several side buildings. The hotel has an inviting reception hall with a front desk, cozy seating areas, and a lobby bar. The main restaurant with a beautiful outdoor terrace overlooking the lagoon provides for your physical well-being. In the well-maintained outdoor area, there is a swimming pool (heatable) with an integrated children's pool as well as sun terraces and a pool/snack bar. Sunbeds, umbrellas, and pads are included at the pool and at "Zeytouna Beach."
