Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all transfers. Accommodation in the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be taken.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 a.m. hot air balloon trip (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor Temple (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight on board.
Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Then opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Trip to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.

Continue to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight on board.

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

Located directly on the beautiful and long sandy beach of the idyllic Makadi Bay, the popular hotel Iberotel Makadi Beach is found. Experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea. The hotel's own reef grows in places up to the shore and offers very good diving and snorkeling conditions. Just a few meters from the hotel is the Makadi Souk, where you can look for souvenirs or enjoy oriental food in one of the nice restaurants. Hurghada is located approx. 35 km north.

Amenities

The spacious complex with double-story residential units that stretch along the pool and garden landscape to the beach leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel has 313 rooms, an inviting entrance hall with lobby and reception, Fun Pub, and shops and boutiques.
