Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all connecting transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursday. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation is always selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. The preliminary and subsequent stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Itinerary:
1. Day:
Arrival and embarkation. In the afternoon, visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 am, hot air balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, sightseeing of the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
3. Day:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening trip to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
4. Day:
Continue from Esna.
Afterwards, continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.
Lunch, dinner, and overnight on board.
5. Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
In the afternoon, felucca ride on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
6. Day:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Trip to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
7. Day:
Continue to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight on board.

Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins distributed across several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious dishes. The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small porthole.

Single occupancy cabin

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Located in the popular Madinat Makadi, the complex is approx. 400 m from Makadi Bay. The tastefully furnished Double Superior rooms (DSU) are approx. 32 m² and are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, safe, telephone, satellite TV, refrigerator, and balcony or terrace.

Junior Suite pool view

Royal Suite

The Royal Suite (RS) offers, in addition to the amenities of the Double Superior rooms, a king-size bed, a private (heatable in winter) pool, and a terrace. They are approx. 80 m² and can be occupied by 2 adults.
