Travel information

Combination product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most affordable available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next possible embarkation is always selected.

Notice

The travel offer you have chosen has a duration of 14 Days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven Days according to the program. 1. Day:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3) Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
2. Day:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 o'clock, balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
3. Day:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Hatshepsut Temple (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late in the evening, cruise to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
4. Day:
Cruise continues from Esna.
Then continue to Aswan, where the overnight stay will also take place.

5. Day:
In the morning after breakfast, visit the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.
6. Day:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Cruise to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight stay on board.
7. Day:
Continue to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight stay on board.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and have a small porthole.

The Steigenberger ALDAU Beach Hotel, particularly popular with regular guests, is located in the first beach row of Hurghada on one of the most popular coastal sections of the region. The spacious resort is situated on a 400-meter-long private sandy beach with turquoise water. Together with the two Steigenberger sister hotels, the resort lies directly on the „ALDAU Art Promenade“ with various shops, restaurants, as well as the Elements Club & Lounge. It is about 10 km to the lively town center of Hurghada, the well-known "Sakalla". Hurghada airport is approx. 6 km away.

Facilities

The generously designed hotel is equipped with over 400 modern suites, the majority of which have a direct sea view. Superior Suite Sea View

The superior suites (DM2/DAM approx. 50 m²) have a sea view. The View Suite

The View Suite (S2) is approx. 115 m² in size and equipped with an open bathroom with shower and whirlpool, separate WC, a separate guest WC, RFID door lock, an open living area, one bedroom, limited Wi-Fi for max. 3 devices per room, espresso machine, and a large balcony with loungers and seating. The suites have a sea view. The rooms are adults-only.

Deluxe Suite

The deluxe suites (SDM) are approx. 142 m² in size and feature one bedroom and a separate living area. Additionally, the deluxe suites have a dressing area and two balconies, each with a table and two chairs, from which you have a beautiful view over the Red Sea.

Enjoy your breakfast (7-10:30 am), lunch (1-4 pm), and dinner (6:30-10 pm in summer and 6-10 pm in winter) in buffet form, in the evening with changing theme buffets, at the main restaurant "Tamarind". Alternatively, for lunch, the "Bwala Pool Restaurant and Bar" with a lunch menu from 1-5 pm or the "Tanga Beach Restaurant and Bar" with a lunch buffet from 12-3 pm and a lunch menu from 1-4 pm are available.
