Travel information

Combination package including a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced available room category. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay beforehand is mandatory. The next available embarkation will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Tour of the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on-site).
Breakfast, tour of the East Bank, the Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Tour of the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening trip to Esna. Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 4:
Continue from Esna.
Afterwards, proceed to Aswan, where the overnight stay takes place.

Day 5:
In the morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Afterwards, visit to the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Afternoon felucca trip on the Nile (1,2,3).
Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 6:
You have the opportunity to explore Abu Simbel (2,3). Trip to Kom Ombo with a visit to the double temple (1,2,3). Dinner and overnight on board.
Day 7:
Continue to Esna and visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3). Overnight on board.

Arrival in Luxor. Departure.

The ship features a welcoming reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread over several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals. The offering is complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approx. 19 m² in size and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single use (K1 or KA1).

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins, but are located on the lower decks and feature a small porthole.

Cabin single occupancy

With the same equipment as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

The family-favorite hotel "Pickalbatros Aqua Park" is located only approx. 700m from the hotel's own beach section. You can reach this after a short walk across the grounds of the sister hotel "Beach Albatros" (HRG013) or by a complimentary shuttle. The hotel is only separated from the "Beach Albatros" by a road. It is approx. 10 km to Hurghada Airport, and you need about 20 minutes by car to Hurghada Downtown.

Facilities

The particularly family-friendly facility has 296 rooms, which are distributed in the main building and four 3-story annexes. In addition to two restaurants at the hotel (Mediterranean cuisine, Asian cuisine) and various bars, other restaurants from the sister hotels can be used. Furthermore, the hotel offers a spacious lobby with a lobby bar, reception, and ATM, as well as various shops in front of the hotel and a hairdresser. In the outdoor area, there is an amphitheater, 5 swimming pools (one of which is heated, one children's pool), an Olympic pool at the sister hotel Pickalbatros Aqua Vista (for a fee), and the Aqua Park with 9 waterslides for adults. There are 16 additional slides for children at "Pickalbatros Aqua Blu," which can also be used. Sun loungers and umbrellas are included at the pool and beach; bath towels only at the pool. There is a beach bar at the beach, which is also included. If required, unlimited access to the Neverland Aqua Park can be booked additionally.
For guests of "Pickalbatros Aqua Park," "Pickalbatros Aqua Blu," and "Pickalbatros Aqua Vista," the newly opened "Midway Street" with various theme park attractions is also available.

The double rooms (D) are friendly and tastefully equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar, electric kettle, telephone, satellite TV, safe, and balcony or terrace and are approx. 32 m² in size.
Also bookable with pool view (PD) or for single use (DE/PDE). Additionally bookable as Type I room (DI/DEI) with a special price and limited availability.

Super saver rooms

These super saver rooms (SSZ) have the same equipment as the double rooms, but have limited availability and a special price.

Meals

All Inclusive

Breakfast from 7-10 AM, late breakfast until 11 AM, lunch buffet from 12:30-2:30 PM, dinner in 2 restaurants (main restaurant and Asian restaurant) from 6-9 PM. Alternatively also in one of the two restaurants "Tagine" and "Soprano" in the sister hotels Pickalbatros Aqua Blu and Pickalbatros Aqua Vista. Late dinner from 10 PM-midnight, various snacks in the food court from 12-5 PM and at the beach bar from 3-4 PM. Ice cream for children from 10 AM-6 PM. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at the respective open bars from 10 AM to midnight. Selected cocktails are already included in the All-Inclusive offer at no extra charge.
