Travel information

Combination package consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Lady Carol and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation at the hotel is always provided in the most reasonably priced room category available. Embarkation always takes place on Thursdays. The journey must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay prior to the cruise is mandatory. The next possible embarkation date will always be selected.

Notice

The travel package you have selected has a duration of 14 days and includes various individual services. Accommodation on the ship is always for seven days according to the program. The pre- and post-cruise stay at the hotel depends on your arrival day and the embarkation day. All transfers between the airport, hotel, and port are included.

Day 1:
Arrival and embarkation. Afternoon visit to the Luxor Museum (3). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 2:
Visit to the East Bank in Luxor. At 5 AM, balloon excursion (optional, can be booked on site).
Breakfast, visit to the East Bank, Karnak and Luxor temples (1,2,3).
Lunch on board.
Dinner and overnight stay on board in Luxor.
Day 3:
Visit to the West Bank. In the morning after breakfast, excursion to Thebes-West to the Temple of Hatshepsut (1,2,3) with a visit to the Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3). Visit to the Valley of the Kings (1,2,3). Lunch on board.
Late evening departure to Esna. Dinner and overnight stay on board.
Day 4:
Continued journey from Esna.
Then on to Aswan, where the overnight stay also takes place.

Morning after breakfast, visit to the Aswan High Dam and the Old Dam in Aswan (1,2,3).
Then visit the Philae Temple by motorboat (1,2,3). Lunch on board.

Afterwards, opportunity to visit a Nubian village with the desert on one side and the Nile on the other (3).
Dinner and overnight stay on board.

The ship features a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful exterior cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant provides delicious meals for your well-being. The offerings are complemented by a cozy lounge bar. A small bazaar invites you to stroll and browse. On the spacious sun deck, there is a large pool and a bar. Bath towels are included on board.

Cabins

The tastefully furnished cabins (K2) are approximately 19 m² in size and feature a bathroom with bath/WC, hairdryer, telephone, satellite TV, video system, air conditioning, minibar, and safe.
The cabins can also be booked for single use (K1 or KA1).

Economy cabins

The economy cabins (EK2) are equipped like the standard cabins but are located on the lower decks and feature a small round window.

Single cabin

With the same amenities as the cabins, but slightly smaller (approx. 13 m²) and with only one bed (K1B). The window cannot be opened.

Built in the Nubian style, the Sheraton Miramar Resort invites you to rest and relaxation. The beautiful hotel complex is spread over nine small islands, where the various buildings of the hotel are situated. The island landscape is connected by wooden bridges. Surrounded by crystal-clear lagoons and beautiful sandy beaches, the location creates a very special atmosphere that immediately evokes a holiday mood. The hotel is located approx. 25 km north of Hurghada, just a few minutes' drive from the town center of El Gouna with various shops, restaurants, and bars. You can use the regularly scheduled boat and bus shuttle for a fee. The airport of Hurghada is approx. 40 km away.

Double room Superior pool or lagoon view

The comfortably furnished rooms (DSU) are newly renovated and have a size of approx. 38 m². The rooms feature a walk-in shower, WC, hairdryer, individually controllable air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (replenished daily with soft drinks), coffee and tea maker, safe, and a balcony or terrace with a view of the hotel's own lagoon. Also bookable as a double room for single use (DEU).

Double room Premium side sea view

The rooms (P2D) feature a walk-in shower, WC, hairdryer, individually controllable air conditioning, telephone, LCD TV, minibar (replenished daily with soft drinks), coffee and tea maker, seating area, safe, and a balcony or terrace. The rooms have a side sea view and are renovated.

Beachfront Deluxe Room

The newly renovated Beachfront Deluxe rooms (BF2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms but are located in the first row to the beach. Also bookable for single use (BF1).

Family room

The family rooms (DF2) offer the same amenities as the double rooms but consist of two rooms with a connecting door.

Suite Superior (HRGA16)

The Suite Superior (SU2) are similar in amenities to the Superior double rooms, but do not have a walk-in shower and are larger at approx. 42m².
Also bookable for single use (SU1).

Junior suite

The Junior suite (JS2) offers the same amenities as the double rooms, but is more spacious (approx. 52 m²) and has an open living area.

The main restaurant "Miramar" offers breakfast (7-10:30 am) and dinner (6:30 pm - 10 pm) buffet-style. Lunch is offered in the "Miramar" or "Waves" restaurant. Local beer, local spirits, and local wines, soft drinks, ice cream, tea, mineral water, and coffee are included around the clock at the bar currently open. Drinks in the minibar are also included (daily replenishment of soft drinks).
ATTENTION: When booking Ultra All Inclusive, the Club Package is not included. The board type according to the program must be booked to include the Club Package.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program allows guests with half board, full board, or All Inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants of other hotels – without any additional costs for the food (excluding drinks).
