The beautiful hotel complex is located directly in the heart of Makadi Bay next to the popular sister hotel "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" (HRG223). The holiday resort is situated in the first row of the beach at the most beautiful snorkeling and diving spots in the bay, offering the opportunity to explore the breathtaking underwater world of the Red Sea directly from the gently shelving beach.
It is approx. 37 km to the city center of Hurghada. Hurghada Airport is approx. 32 km away.

The Schauinsland-Reisen-Original hotel was built in an elegant bohemian style and has 240 rooms and suites, which are spread over several building complexes. With its unique and high-quality meal concept, the hotel stands out in Egypt and offers you a choice of three of its own à-la-carte restaurants ("Lucina" – international cuisine, "Gaia" – Italian cuisine, and "Yades" – Greek cuisine) for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The à-la-carte restaurant "Posh Club Lounge" is available exclusively to Posh Club members and offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. In addition, guests of the "SUNRISE Tucana Resort Grand Select" have free access to the eight à-la-carte restaurants of the sister hotel "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" with a diverse selection in the evening. The Felucca, which serves fish and seafood, is available for a fee. Furthermore, there are a total of eight different bars available. The "Posh Club Lounge" is only available to Posh Club members. The Cohiba Bar (adults-only) is accessible to all guests and serves, among other things, imported alcoholic beverages from 6:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. The hotel's extensive grounds feature three pools (heatable in winter). One is only for use by Posh Club members (adults-only pool). Furthermore, some specific room types have their own pool or a sharing pool (heatable in winter). In addition, guests are allowed to use the eight pools as well as the Aqua Park with 18 different slides at the "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select". Guests may use all existing facilities of the "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select", but not vice versa. Inside the large hotel complex, there is also a souvenir shop, a jeweler, and a mini-market. Sun loungers, towels, and sunshades are available to guests free of charge at the pool and on the beach.

Lexi Swim Up Suite Poolview

The Lexi Swim Up Suite (SWP) is larger (approx. 43 m²) with the same amenities as the Superior double rooms. The rooms have a terrace with access to the swim-up shared pool. On the terrace, there is a dining table as well as two separate sun loungers.
Rooms with direct access to the sharing pool do not have their own lifeguards and represent an increased potential hazard for small children and non-swimmers. Supervision of children at the pool is therefore the responsibility of the parents or guardians.

The pleasantly furnished rooms (DSU, approx. 35 m²) are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, satellite TV, telephone (for a fee), Wi-Fi, safe, minibar, and balcony or terrace.

The Junior suites Swim Up (SUJ) are more spacious (approx. 43 m²) with the same amenities as the Superior double rooms, include a small seating area, and have direct access to the swim-up shared pool.

The Tucana Pool suites (PSW) have the same amenity elements as the Superior double rooms, but are larger (approx. 50-65 m²), with a king-size bed, bathroom with shower, and access to a private outdoor shower (only partially and not overlooked), seating area, and terrace with access to a private pool. The suites have a partial sea view.

Premium All Inclusive

The unique meal concept offers you breakfast from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., lunch from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and dinner from 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. in one of the hotel's three à-la-carte restaurants ("Lucina", "Gaia", "Yades"). As a Posh Club member (booked suite), you also have the option to take your breakfast exclusively in the "Posh Club Lounge". Sparkling wine breakfast is included for you in all four restaurants. Additionally, dinner can optionally be taken in the buffet restaurant or in one of the eight different à-la-carte restaurants of the "SUNRISE Royal Makadi Resort Select" (Mexican, Italian, Asian, Mediterranean, Steak, Diet and Light, Bedouin restaurant).
