Location

The popular Iberotel Makadi Beach hotel is located directly on the beautiful and long sandy beach of the idyllic Makadi Bay. Experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea. The hotel's own reef reaches the shore in places, offering excellent diving and snorkeling conditions. The Makadi Souk is just a few meters from the hotel, where you can look for souvenirs or enjoy oriental dishes in one of the nice restaurants. Hurghada is located approximately 35 km to the north.

Facilities

The spacious complex with double-storey units, stretching along the pool and garden landscape to the beach, leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel has 313 rooms, a welcoming lobby with reception, a fun pub, and shops and boutiques. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and two à la carte restaurants, as well as an oriental restaurant. Further à la carte restaurants are available to guests in the Madinat Makadi for a fee.
The extensive outdoor area features a swimming pool (heated in winter) and a swimming pool with an adjoining children's pool and waterfall, a sun terrace, a pool bar, and a pool restaurant. Sun loungers and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the beach and pool.

Double Superior

The DSU (Double Superior) rooms are tastefully and comfortably furnished (approx. 36 sqm) with shower/WC, bathrobes and slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, tiled floor, satellite TV, telephone, safe, apples, cookies upon arrival, and a balcony or terrace with garden or pool view.
Also available as DSP (pool view), DSS (side sea view), DMU (sea view), or for single use (DEU/ESP/1SD/EMU).

Double Superior Sea View Guaranteed Top Floor

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Double Superior rooms and have a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
Also available for single use (MSE).

Junior Suite Side Sea View

The Junior Suites (J2S) have the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms but are larger (approx. 50 sqm) with a seating area and coffee machine, and a side sea view.

Continental early bird breakfast from 5 AM to 7 AM, breakfast from 7 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. All meals are served buffet-style. Once per stay, you can have dinner in one of the specialty restaurants in a neighboring hotel as part of the dine-around concept (reservations required).
Snacks and ice cream from 12 PM to 5 PM. A selection of local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages by the glass is available 24 hours a day. The minibar is replenished daily with water, coffee, and tea. International alcoholic beverages are available for an extra charge.
