Location

The popular Iberotel Makadi Beach is located directly on the beautiful and long sandy beach of the idyllic Makadi Bay. Experience the colorful underwater world of the Red Sea. The hotel's own reef grows to the shore in some places, offering excellent diving and snorkeling conditions. Just a few meters from the hotel is the Makadi Souk, where you can browse for souvenirs or enjoy oriental dishes in one of the nice restaurants. Hurghada is located about 35 km to the north.

Facilities

The spacious complex with double-story units, stretching along the pool and garden landscape to the beach, leaves nothing to be desired. The hotel has 313 rooms, an inviting lobby with a reception area, a fun pub, and shops and boutiques. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and two à la carte restaurants, as well as an oriental restaurant. Further à la carte restaurants are available to guests in Madinat Makadi for a fee.
The extensive outdoor area features a swimming pool (heated in winter) and a swimming pool with an adjacent children's pool and waterfall, a sun terrace, a pool bar, and a pool restaurant. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge on the beach and by the pool.

Double Room Superior

The Double Superior rooms (DSU) are tastefully and comfortably furnished (approx. 36 sqm) with a shower/WC, bathrobes & slippers, hairdryer, air conditioning, tiled floor, satellite TV, telephone, safe, apples, cookies upon arrival, and a balcony or terrace with garden or pool view.
Also available as Pool view (DSP), Partial sea view (DSS), Sea view (DMU), or for single occupancy (DEU/ESP/1SD/EMU).

Double Room Superior Sea View Guaranteed Top Floor

The newly bookable schauinsland-reisen Original rooms (MSA) are equipped like the Double Superior rooms and have a sea view. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the top floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.
Also available for single occupancy (MSE).

Junior Suite Partial Sea View

The Junior Suites (J2S) have the same amenities as the Double Superior rooms but are larger (approx. 50 sqm) with a living area and coffee machine, and a partial sea view.

Continental early bird breakfast from 5 AM to 7 AM, breakfast from 7 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM. All meals are served buffet-style. Once per stay, you can enjoy dinner at a specialty restaurant in a neighboring hotel as part of the dine-around concept (reservation required).
Snacks and ice cream from 12 PM to 5 PM. A selection of local alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in glasses is available to guests 24 hours a day. The minibar is refilled daily with still water, coffee, and tea. Soft drinks and alcoholic beverages are available for an additional charge.
