Location

The fantastic Desert Rose is located directly on the coast of the Red Sea in the southern hotel zone of Hurghada. The hotel complex impresses with a beautiful, large, hotel-owned lagoon with a 1 km long sandy beach. The coral reef offshore offers great opportunities to explore Egypt's fascinating underwater world. A long bathing jetty leads out into the Red Sea. The hotel is approx. 20 km from the lively city center of Hurghada. Hurghada Airport is approx. 12 km away.

The spacious hotel complex consists of a sprawling garden landscape in which the main building and several outbuildings are nestled. Spread across the buildings are 870 comfortably furnished rooms and 39 suites. For your culinary well-being, there is a buffet restaurant and four à la carte restaurants. "Le Bistro" enchants with French cuisine, "Fattoosh" is an open-air restaurant with oriental specialties, "Ranchero" offers Mexican dishes, and "Del Mar" spoils your palate with fish and seafood (breakfast here is for a fee, reservation required). The diverse offering is complemented by ten bars, distributed throughout the grounds and on the beach. In the well-maintained garden area, there are four pools, including an activity pool, a relaxation pool, and the "Zaitouna Pool" (adults only), which has shallow and deep zones, making it perfect for relaxed swimming, and also features Olympic lanes – ideal for athletes. An aqua park with six water slides provides plenty of water fun. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included by the pool and on the beach.

The comfortably furnished rooms (32 sqm) have a shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, TV, telephone, safe, minibar (soft drinks and water included), air conditioning, balcony or terrace (furnished) with garden view.

Beach Front (BF2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but located in the first row of the beach.

Superior Double Room (DSU)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, the Superior Double Rooms (32 sqm) have free Wi-Fi in the rooms and have been renovated.

HRGA86: Deluxe Double Room

The Deluxe Double Rooms have a size of approx. 45 sqm and are furnished with great attention to detail. The general amenities are similar to the double rooms, but this room category is larger and, in addition to the double bed, has a sofa bed and garden view (DD2), also bookable for single occupancy (1DD).
Also bookable as a Deluxe Double Room with pool view (DPB) and as a single occupancy with pool view (DPE).

These correspond to 2 double rooms with a connecting door (K2C).

Club Suite Beach Front (CSB)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (64 sqm) and located in the first row of the beach.

Premium Double Room renovated

The Premium Double Rooms (P2G) have similar amenities to the double rooms but are larger (approx. 40 sqm). The rooms appear freshly renovated and additionally feature bathrobes and slippers for each guest and a balcony or terrace with a garden view. The minibar is stocked with soft drinks, water, and juice. The rooms also include free Wi-Fi.
Optionally bookable with pool view (PDD) (under HRGA86 with PPD) and for single occupancy (P1G, 1PP).

Early bird breakfast from 4-6:30 AM (summer)/3:30-6:30 AM (winter), breakfast from 7-10 AM, lunch from 1-3 PM, and dinner from 7-10 PM (summer)/6:30-9:30 PM (winter) as a buffet. Late diner from 11 PM - 1 AM (summer)/10:30 PM - 12 AM (winter).
Guests are offered ice cream from 12-4 PM, as well as snacks from 1-6 PM (summer)/12-5 PM (winter) and popcorn from 1-6 PM.
Alternatively, dinner can be enjoyed in one of the four à la carte restaurants "Fatoosh", "Del Mar", Le Bistro", or "Ranchero" (for a minimum stay of 7 nights, each restaurant is included once/reservation required, subject to availability).
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included.
