Location

The Mövenpick Resort & Spa is located in the heart of El Gouna, idyllically situated on one of the numerous peninsulas with its own exclusive beach, nestled between the Red Sea and a picturesque lagoon. The charming town center of El Gouna, offering a variety of restaurants and shops, is approximately 1.5 km away. The picturesque Abu Tig Marina, an exclusive harbor with numerous restaurants and shops, can be reached in about 3.5 km. The resort is located about 27 km north of the center of Hurghada and approximately 40 km from Hurghada Airport.

The spacious, Mediterranean-style hotel complex comprises a total of 420 rooms, harmoniously distributed across seven different buildings. The particularly spacious and elegantly furnished lobby welcomes guests with a stylish reception and comfortable seating; safes are available free of charge. Culinary highlights are provided by the buffet restaurant "Palavrion" and two à la carte restaurants, offering an exquisite selection of seafood and oriental specialties. The offering is rounded off by a cozy bar, two pool bars, and a souvenir shop. The hotel's own spa area invites guests to relax with six different treatment rooms for wellness experiences. The extensive outdoor area features a well-maintained garden landscape with three pools and a separate children's pool, some of which are heated in winter. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are available free of charge at both the pool and the beach.

Double Room Garden View

The modernly furnished double rooms (D) are spacious (approx. 40 sqm) and equipped with a king-size bed or two twin beds, shower/toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, flat-satellite TV, telephone, coffee and tea maker, minibar, Wi-Fi, safe (free of charge) and a terrace with garden view. Deluxe Double Room Sea View

The Deluxe Double Sea View rooms (DDM) are equipped like the double rooms but additionally feature sea view and a balcony or terrace. Sparkling wine upon arrival. Also available for single occupancy (DM1).

Deluxe Double Room Lagoon View

The Deluxe Double Lagoon View rooms (D2L) have the same amenities as the double rooms, but offer a lagoon view or side sea view and have a balcony or terrace. Also available for single occupancy (1DL) and as type I (DLI).

The Family Rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 50 sqm) and additionally feature an open sleeping area (maisonette) and a balcony overlooking the lagoon or pool.

Breakfast buffet at "Palavrion" from 7-10:30 am, late riser breakfast from 10:30-11 am, lunch from 1-3 pm and dinner from 6-10 pm either at "Palavrion" (buffet) or at the à la carte restaurant "Gallery" (Italian) from 6:30-10 pm.
Afternoon snacks from 12-4 pm, ice cream from 11 am-5 pm, and coffee, tea, and cake from 3-5 pm.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 10 am-11 pm at the bar currently open.
The minibar is replenished daily with drinks (snacks for a fee).
Evening wear is requested in the restaurants (no beachwear or sleeveless t-shirts).

Dine Around

The Dine Around program offers guests with Half Board, Full Board, or All-Inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine at participating restaurants in other hotels - without any additional cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine Around offer multiple times: 1x for stays of four nights or more, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight nights or more. Guests of 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from a 3 or 4-star hotel can dine in hotels of the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee.
