Location

The Mövenpick Resort & Spa is located in the heart of El Gouna, idyllically situated on one of the many peninsulas with its own exclusive beach, nestled between the Red Sea and a picturesque lagoon. The charming El Gouna town center, which offers a wealth of restaurants and shops, is approximately 1.5 km away. The scenic Abu Tig Marina, an exclusive yacht harbor with a variety of restaurants and shopping options, can be reached after approx. 3.5 km. The resort is located about 27 km north of the center of Hurghada and approx. 40 km from Hurghada Airport.

The spacious hotel complex in a Mediterranean style includes a total of 420 rooms, which are harmoniously distributed across seven different buildings. The particularly spacious and elegantly furnished lobby welcomes guests with a stylish reception and comfortable seating; safes are available there free of charge. Culinary highlights are provided by the buffet restaurant "Palavrion" and two à-la-carte restaurants, which offer an exquisite selection of seafood and Italian specialties. The offer is rounded off by a cozy bar, two pool bars, and a souvenir shop. The hotel's own spa area invites you to enjoy relaxing wellness experiences with six different treatment rooms. The expansive outdoor area features a well-maintained garden landscape with three pools and two separate children's pools, some of which are heated in winter. Sun loungers, parasols, and towels are available free of charge at both the pool and the beach.

The modernly furnished double rooms (D) are spacious (approx. 40 m²) and equipped with a king-size bed or two twin beds, shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, flat-screen satellite TV, telephone, coffee and tea maker, minibar, Wi-Fi, safe (free of charge), and a terrace with garden view.

The Double Rooms Deluxe Sea View (DDM) are equipped like the standard double rooms but additionally feature a sea view and a balcony or terrace. Sparkling wine upon arrival.

Double Room Deluxe Lagoon View

The Double Rooms Deluxe Lagoon View (D2L) feature the same amenities as the standard double rooms but offer a view of the lagoon or a side sea view, and include a balcony or terrace.

The family rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 50 m²) and additionally feature an open sleeping area (maisonette) as well as a balcony with a view of the lagoon or the pool.

Buffet breakfast at "Palavrion" from 7:00 AM – 10:30 AM, late-riser breakfast from 10:30 AM – 11:00 AM, lunch from 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM, and dinner from 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM either at "Palavrion" (buffet) or at the à-la-carte restaurant "Gallery" (Italian) from 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM.
Afternoon snacks from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM, ice cream from 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and coffee, tea, and cake from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 10:00 AM – 11:00 PM at the respectively open bar.
The minibar is refilled once daily with drinks (snacks for a fee).
Proper attire is requested in the restaurants in the evening (no beachwear or sleeveless muscle t-shirts).

Dine Around

The Dine Around program allows guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating buffet restaurants of other hotels – with no extra cost for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine Around offer several times: 1x from four nights, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight or more nights. Guests of 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from a 3 or 4-star hotel can dine in houses of the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee.

Additionally, the resort's spa area features an exclusive pool that is accessible only to adults. The hotel's own spa area also offers a sauna, a steam bath, and a whirlpool. Guests can indulge themselves in various massage and wellness treatments for a fee. A beauty salon with a selection of facial and beauty treatments rounds off the comprehensive wellness offer.

Entertainment is provided by the daily animation program as well as live music or various shows in the evening.
