No Smoking

Smoking is prohibited in all public places in Mexico. This also applies to public transport, beaches, parks, hotels, and restaurants. Violations can be punished with fines or imprisonment.

Seasonal Notice

For stays between April and December, increased presence of seaweed and algae may occur due to wind, temperature, and currents. In particular, there is often an increased presence of brown algae in the Caribbean. The beach and sea are affected. The hotel management and local authorities are, of course, committed to cleaning affected beach sections in cooperation with local municipalities. However, this requires the use of appropriate equipment, which may cause some noise.
