Location

The 'Villas Mediterraneo' is located outside Caniço on Madeira (Portugal). In the immediate vicinity, there is a restaurant 'O Moinho' serving typical traditional Madeiran cuisine (approx. 400 m away). A mini-supermarket can be found approximately 200 m away (Assomada Center). The nearest beach is about 1.1 km away. Funchal's city center is about 13 km away. Funchal International Airport is approximately 9.5 km away (about a 10-minute drive). The nearest towns are Caniço (approx. 3 km), Caniço de Baixo (approx. 4 km), and Camacha (approx. 5 km). Various hiking areas are right on your doorstep. For example, the 'Levada do Caniço' (also known as 'Levada dos Moinhos'), which is about 6 km long and runs from Assomada to Camacha.

Facilities

Built in 2016, the complex has a total of 12 comfortably and modernly furnished terraced houses. The small complex is part of a manageable new housing development in the coastal hinterland on the outskirts of the village of Assomada at an altitude of around 200 m and is a welcome alternative for those seeking peace and closeness to nature.

Villa (3 Bedrooms)

The villas (3 bedrooms) are approx. 280 m² in size and feature a fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor (with stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, and dining area), utility room (with washing machine, ironing board, and iron), living/dining room, WC, garage, and an outdoor terrace with sun loungers and garden. The first floor contains 3 bedrooms (one bedroom with a double bed, en-suite bathroom, and balcony, the other two bedrooms with twin beds and a balcony each), a WC, and an attic with additional living space. The ground-floor living/dining room and 2 bedrooms are each equipped with a cable TV.

Villa (4 Bedrooms)

The villas (4 bedrooms) are approx. 320 m² in size and feature a fully equipped kitchen on the ground floor (with stove, oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, coffee machine, dishwasher, and dining area), utility room (with washing machine, ironing board, and iron), living/dining room, WC, garage, and an outdoor terrace with sun loungers and garden. The first floor contains 4 bedrooms (one bedroom with a double bed, en-suite bathroom, and balcony, the other three bedrooms with twin beds and a balcony each), a WC, and an attic with additional living space. The ground-floor living/dining room and 3 bedrooms are each equipped with a cable TV.
