Location

The traditional village of Stumm in the enchanting Zillertal valley impresses with its diversity and special flair. Stumm also offers special culinary delights, cozy bars, and a variety of romantic places to feel good. In addition, there are some interesting day trip destinations in the surroundings of Stumm waiting for your visit. Particularly recommended are Lake Achensee (approx. 24 km away), Castle Tratzberg, approx. 22 km away, and the Zillertal Adventure Thermal Spa, 7.3 km away. Look forward to splashing fun at the Mayrhofen Indoor Pool, 17 km away. As soon as the first snowflakes fall, Stumm reveals its winter splendor with its snow-covered peaks. The Hintertux Glacier is about 36 km away. A ride on the Arena Coaster (approx. 8.1 km away) is also a special fun.
In summer, the hotel is the ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours. A hiking bus (for a fee) will take you to the directly adjacent Zillertal Arena hiking area. You can reach the cable car in Zell am Ziller after approx. 6 km. You can get active on a bike path directly at the house and enjoy the landscape at the same time.
In winter, the accommodation is particularly suitable for alpine skiers, cross-country skiers, and for extended winter hikes. A free ski bus runs (according to the timetable on site). The ski bus stop is located directly at the house. The cable car in the Hochzillertal ski area is about 2.5 km from the house. The nearest cross-country ski trail is only approx. 100 m away. A hiking trail directly at the house invites you to enjoy pleasant winter hikes.

Facilities

The Natur Resort Rissbacher, partly renovated in 2021, with 4 stars offers, in addition to a total of 51 residential units, an inviting lobby with seating and a fireplace, a reception, an e-bike charging station, and an e-car charging station. Your accommodation consists of a main building and the adjacent building "Natur Resort Rissbacher und Vitallodge" with 4 stars, with the main and secondary buildings connected underground and approx. 10 m apart. Enjoy culinary delights in the restaurant and in a parlor. You can end an eventful day of vacation in good company at the hotel bar. A lockable ski and snowboard storage room with ski boot dryer, accessible from the house, is available for your winter sports equipment. Cyclists can use the in-house, lockable bicycle storage room. Smoking is only permitted in designated areas.

Season Notice

SKI INFO:
The 3 resorts Fügen, Hochfügen, and Kaltenbach together form the Hochzillertal ski area, and only one ski pass is needed for all of them. The winter sports area with its wide slopes is suitable for winter sports enthusiasts of all ages and has practice lifts for beginners, freeriding opportunities, and various snow-making facilities. Various refreshment stops near the slopes offer warming drinks and food. You are particularly welcome at the Kristallhütte or the Wedelhütte. A snow park promises lots of fun.
