Location

On the northwestern edge of the North Ari Atoll. The house reef is about 50 m away. The transfer time from Male airport is approx. 25 minutes by seaplane.

The hotel on the small island, only approx. 300 x 250 m, has 37 rooms spread across beach bungalows and water villas. Facilities of the well-kept and tropically overgrown complex include a reception, a small library, and a boutique with a tailor for custom clothing. Two bars and two restaurants cater to your culinary needs. The main restaurant "Veli" offers a selection of Asian, international, and Mediterranean dishes. The à la carte restaurant "Thari", built on stilts over the sea, offers guests the opportunity to watch fresh dishes being prepared in an open show kitchen. The island's other amenities include a spa area offering a diverse selection of beauty treatments, intensive and soothing relaxation massages, and yoga classes (daily included). Sunbeds and beach towels are included.

Hotel-independent transfer information:
Speedboat: Operation for expected arrival/departure from 5 am to 11 pm // Domestic flight: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9:30 am to 4 pm // Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9 am to 3 pm.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
With seaplane transfers, there may be 1-2 stopovers.
If arrival/departure is outside the above times, due to bad weather, or longer waiting times for entry, a stopover in Male may be necessary.
Seaplane flights and most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) and currently most domestic flights are only operated during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Male may be required.

The luggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on-site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered by boat.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may be only 1 or 2 large beds available in total.
