Location

Located in the south of the Ari Atoll on the elongated island of Didhoofinolhu (approx. 1800 x 200 m). The island is surrounded by a dreamlike lagoon and a breathtaking beach. Due to the rich underwater world, this luxury resort is an ideal starting point for diving and snorkeling excursions. The house reef is approx. 300-600 m away, and the outer reef is 800-3000 m away. The destination airport Male is approx. 110 km away. Transfer is by seaplane and takes approximately 25-30 minutes.

The extensive luxury resort has 187 villas. Accommodation is in double/single bungalows, various restaurants (incl. international, oriental, Italian, and Japanese), the Café LUX*, five bars, the "Beach Rouge" club, a souvenir shop, a library, and an ice cream parlor. One of the many highlights is the "Phone Home" phone booth with free international calls. Two swimming pools with sun decks and pool bars. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included at the pools and on the beach.

Beach Pavilion

The spacious rooms (approx. 60 m² incl. outdoor area) are located in the eastern part of the island and feature a bathtub and shower/WC, hairdryer, air conditioning, ceiling fan, safe, IP-TV (with movies on demand for a fee), telephone, minibar (for a fee), coffee/tea maker, seating area, and a veranda with sun loungers (2BP). The Beach Pavilions are located in villas with 2 residential units each.

Beach Villa

The Beach Villas, with similar amenities to the Beach Pavilions, are more spacious, approximately 95 m² including the outdoor area (B2V).

Beach Pool Villa

The Beach Pool Villas, with similar amenities to the Beach Villa, are more spacious (approx. 116 m² including outdoor area) and additionally feature a private pool (VPZ).

Water Villa

The villas, built on stilts over the sea, have been renovated and offer direct access to the sea. Size approx. 98 m² including outdoor area (2WV).

Breakfast buffet at MIXE or East Market restaurant.
With HB, dinner is also served buffet-style (MIXE or East Market restaurant) or as a set menu (Senses or Beach Rouge restaurant).
With FB, lunch is à la carte and dinner is buffet-style (MIXE or East Market restaurant) or à la carte (depending on occupancy, Senses or Beach Rouge restaurant). Water, soft drinks, and café LUX coffee are included with meals.

All Inclusive

All Inclusive

Breakfast and dinner as a rich buffet in one of the two buffet restaurants, lunch and dinner in one of the à la carte restaurants (except Umami and Allegira). Coffee, tea, and ice cream in the afternoon throughout the day. Selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages such as beer, wine, sparkling wine, spirits, soft drinks, and water from approx. 11 AM to 10 PM. Included food and drinks are specially marked on the menu and drinks lists of the à la carte restaurants as well as in the minibar in the room.

Not included in All Inclusive

Japanese à la carte restaurant Umami. Guests receive a credit of 30 USD per person when booking HB or higher.

Premium All Inclusive (from 1.2.26)

Additionally, fresh juices, champagne (by the glass), and one dinner each at the "Umami" and "Allegira" restaurants are included per stay at no extra charge.

The "LUX* Me Spa" is one of the largest wellness areas in the Maldives with 15 treatment rooms (11 garden treatment rooms and four overwater treatment rooms). Hamam, sauna, ice room, relaxation area, manicure & pedicure salon. All treatments are subject to a fee.

Speedboat: Operation for expected arrival/departure from 5 AM to 11 PM // Domestic flight: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9:30 AM to 4 PM // Seaplane: Operation expected for arrivals/departures from 9 AM to 3 PM.
Waiting times of 3 hours or more for onward transfer are possible.
With seaplane transfer, there may be 1-2 intermediate stops.
For arrival/departure outside of the above-mentioned times, in case of bad weather, or longer waiting times upon entry, an overnight stay in Male may need to be booked.

In the Maldives, most rooms are equipped with one or two queen/king-size beds. For an occupancy of 2 adults + 1 or 2 children, there may only be 1 or 2 large beds available in total. Consequently, it may happen that with 2 adults + 1 or 2 children in one room, a child has to sleep in the parents' bed.

All flight transfers as well as most boat transfers (depending on the island's location) are only carried out during the day. Therefore, an overnight stay in Malé (near the airport) may be necessary.

The baggage allowance for seaplanes is 20 kg + 3 kg hand luggage per person. Excess baggage must be paid for on site (approx. 5 USD per kg). Excess baggage is usually delivered later by boat.
