Location

The extensive resort is located directly on the hotel's own sand/gravel beach (bathing shoes recommended) and is only approx. 40 km from Marsa Alam Airport. Due to the gently sloping beach, you have the opportunity for a relaxing beach holiday. On the other hand, the long jetty leads directly into deeper water, from where you can discover the beautiful and impressive underwater world of the Red Sea. The beach offers the best conditions for snorkeling and diving.

The large, newly opened hotel complex consists of 522 rooms. The comfortably and charmingly furnished complex has a reception, several shops, an amphitheater, various bars, two buffet restaurants ("El Khan" - Oriental, "Soprano Restaurant" - international cuisine), an à la carte restaurant ("Shell Fish" - seafood, once per stay, with reservation), two snack restaurants and various bars and a café, The Bakery.
In the spacious outdoor area, there are 12 pools and 3 children's pools (partially heated in winter). The newly built Aqua Park with over 30 water slides offers fun for young and old.
Sun loungers, umbrellas, cushions, and towels are free of charge by the pool and on the beach.
Guests of the "Pickalbatros Portofino Villaggio" can use all facilities of the sister hotel "Pickalbatros Portofino Vita" (RMF116).

The Beachfront Sea View rooms (BF2, approx. 42-45 sqm) are spacious and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, minibar (water included), kettle, air conditioning, telephone (for a fee), TV, and terrace or balcony. The Beachfront Sea View rooms are located directly on the beach with a view of the sea.

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the Nile Majestic Dahabiya and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay is mandatory. The next possible boarding will always be taken.

Day 1
Arrival and boarding
Rest of the day at your leisure, including meals and overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 2
 Early in the morning, you have the option for an optional hot air balloon ride.
 Breakfast followed by a visit to the West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3).
For lunch, return to the boat. Tea time during the journey.
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay on an island near Luxor.
Day 3
 Continue to Edfu. Breakfast and lunch during the journey.
 Visit the Edfu Temple (1,2,3) followed by a continuation to Ramady Island.
Dinner, followed by entertainment and overnight stay on board.
Day 4
In the morning, continue from Ramady Island to Bassaw Island.
Upon arrival at Bassaw Island, enjoy a one-hour walk through green fields and discover the traditional life of the locals.
Subsequent breakfast on board while sailing.
Arrival at Kom Ombo with optional visit to the unusual double temple of Sobek and Horus (1,2,3).
 Back on board, lunch is served during the journey to Hor Diab Island.

The Nile Majestic Dahabiya is a 58m long ship with two upper decks and a sun deck. All cabins offer a direct Nile view.
The design combines pharaonic elegance with classic style - inspired by antiquity to the era of King Farouk. The ship has 16 cabins spread over two decks. Onboard, you will find an elegant buffet restaurant, cozy retreat areas such as a reading corner, and a spacious sun deck with a pool and a comfortable bar.
