Product information

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the Nile Majestic Dahabiya and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Saturdays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay before is mandatory. The next possible boarding date will always be taken.

Day 1
Arrival and embarkation
Rest of the day at your leisure, including meals and overnight stay in Luxor.
Day 2
 In the early morning, you have the option for an optional hot air balloon ride.
 Breakfast followed by a visit to the West Bank: Valley of the Kings, Temple of Hatshepsut, Colossi of Memnon (1,2,3).
Return to the boat for lunch. Tea time during the cruise.
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay on an island near Luxor.
Day 3
 Cruise to Edfu. Breakfast and lunch during the cruise.
 Visit to the Edfu Temple (1,2,3) followed by a cruise to Ramady Island.
Dinner, followed by entertainment and overnight stay on board.
Day 4
In the morning, we continue from Ramady Island to Bassaw Island.
Upon arrival at Bassaw Island, there will be a one-hour walk through green fields and an exploration of the traditional local life.
Followed by breakfast on board during the cruise.
Arrival in Kom Ombo with an optional visit to the unusual double temple of Sobek and Horus (1,2,3).
 Back on board, lunch during the cruise to Hor Diab Island.
Upon arrival at Hor Diab Island, there is an opportunity for swimming in the Nile.
Dinner on board with entertainment and overnight stay in Aswan.
Day 5
Breakfast followed by an optional visit to the High Dam and Philae Temple (1,2,3), then a felucca ride (1,2,3) on the Nile
as well as an optional visit to a Nubian village (3).
 Lunch on board.
Optional participation in the Sound and Light show at Philae Temple (starts at 7:00 PM).
Dinner, entertainment, and overnight stay.
Day 6
 Optional excursion to the temples of Abu Simbel with packed breakfast included (2,3)
Breakfast on board for guests without the Abu Simbel excursion.
 Lunch and subsequent tea time during the return journey to Esna (approx. 14-hour journey)
Dinner followed by entertainment and overnight stay in Esna.
Day 7
 Breakfast and lunch on board, cruise from Esna to Luxor (approx. 6 hours)
 Arrival in Luxor, visit to the East Bank: Karnak and Luxor Temples (1,2,3), city tour and visit to the oriental bazaar
 Optional excursion to the Luxor Museum (3).

The Nile Majestic Dahabiya is a 58m long ship with two upper decks and a sun deck. All cabins offer a direct Nile view.
The design combines pharaonic elegance with classic style - inspired by antiquity up to the era of King Farouk. The ship has 16 cabins spread across two decks. On board, you can expect an elegant buffet restaurant, cozy retreats such as a reading corner, and a spacious sun deck with a swimming pool and a comfortable bar.

The resort of the renowned Steigenberger chain is located quietly, directly on the gently sloping, hotel-owned sandy beach with a unique house reef in Madinat Coraya.
Madinat Coraya Bay is a dreamlike holiday destination that offers ideal conditions for diving and snorkeling enthusiasts. The underwater world is home to countless rare fish species. The distance to Port Ghalib and Marsa Alam Airport is approximately 8 km.

Facilities

The spacious adults-only (bookable from 16 years) hotel complex with a total of 364 elegant rooms has a warm and oriental ambiance. The facilities include an inviting lobby with a reception, so you feel comfortable from the first moment, as well as several shops, an amphitheater, and a Bedouin tent. For culinary variety, there is a main restaurant, an à la carte restaurant ("Fayrouz" - Mediterranean dishes), and various bars.
Furthermore, Madinat Coraya offers a Dine Around: one visit to the Italian à la carte "Basilico Restaurant", the Asian "Rocca" Restaurant, or the Oriental "Zaytoun" is included per stay for All Inclusive guests (reservation required).
There are 3 swimming pools (one of which is heated) and a pool/beach bar in the outdoor area. Sun loungers and umbrellas are available free of charge on the hotel's private beach and by the pools.

Double Room Superior Guaranteed Upper Floors Sea View

The newly bookable Schauinsland-Reisen Original rooms (XO2) are equipped like the Double Superior rooms and offer sea views. The rooms are guaranteed to be on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the hotel, offering a breathtaking view of the Red Sea.

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (JS2) are approx. 42 sqm and feature a bathroom or shower/WC, a spacious bedroom, and a separate living area (separated by a door). The Junior Suites offer pool or sea views.

Breakfast from 6:30 AM to 10:30 AM, lunch from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM, and dinner from 6:30 PM to 9:30 PM, each in buffet form. Various snacks are available during the day for in-between meals.
Afternoon tea time with a selection of coffee, tea, and cake from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM and ice cream from 10 AM to 5 PM.
Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, as well as fresh juice, are available from 10 AM to midnight. "Pharao Club" guests receive one dinner in an à la carte restaurant per stay (in "Fayruz"), registration required. A fruit basket upon arrival.
