Location

Spend a dreamlike family vacation at the "Steigenberger Aqua Magic". The 5-star hotel offers fun for the whole family and delights young and old with its extensive water park. The tastefully designed promenade "ALDAU Art Promenade" separates the complex from the sandy beach, which is about 400 meters away and slopes gently. Here you can be fascinated by the magical underwater world of the Red Sea while snorkeling or diving. If needed, the hotel offers shuttle services to the beach (subject to availability). Your holiday accommodation is located in the newer part of Hurghada on the modernly designed promenade with oriental cafes, bars, and international pubs, as well as small shops. The center of Hurghada with the well-known "Sakalla" is about 6 km away. Hurghada Airport is about 5 km away.

Facilities

The extensive hotel complex is especially child-friendly and family-oriented and has 718 generously equipped rooms and suites. The complex welcomes guests in a spacious lobby with a reception and lobby bar, as well as a cozy lounge with seating areas. Wi-Fi is available free of charge throughout the hotel. In the outdoor area, there are seven swimming pools, one with an integrated children's pool on over 2,600m², which are partially heated in winter. The hotel also has a water park with various water slides, which can be used from a height of 1.20 meters. The highlight for all water lovers is the 400-meter-long "Lazy River" that runs through the entire complex. On the roof terrace, there is a relaxation pool accessible only to adults. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge at the pools and on the beach. For culinary delights, the "Magic Flavors" main restaurant is available, as well as three à la carte restaurants and a snack bar and various pool and beach bars. Guests can choose between Italian, international, and oriental cuisine. There is also a "Sky Bar" on the roof terrace where guests can enjoy their drinks in the evening. In the shopping arcade, located directly in the hotel, small souvenirs can be purchased.

Double Room Superior

The Double Rooms Superior (DSU/DAS, approx. 34 m²) have a shower/WC, coffee and tea making facilities, minibar, safe, LED TV, mini-bar, hairdryer, and air conditioning, and a balcony. Wi-Fi access is free for 2 devices.

Double Room Deluxe

The Double Rooms Deluxe (DD2/DDA, approx. 45 m²) are equipped with shower/WC, hairdryer, safe, satellite LED TV, coffee and tea making facilities, air conditioning, minibar (daily refill with soft drinks), work area, seating area, and balcony. Wi-Fi access for 2 devices is free. Also bookable for single use (DD1).

Family Suite

The Family Suites (2FS/ASF) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Deluxe, but are more spacious (approx. 55 m²) and equipped with a master bedroom and a separate sleeping area with separate beds for the children. The master bedroom is separated from the sleeping area and hallway by a door. Wi-Fi access is free for 3 devices. Also bookable as a Suite (SA).

Family Junior Suite

The Family Junior Suites (FJ2/FJA, approx. 68 m²) have the same amenities as the Family Suites but offer a master bedroom and a separate living/sleeping area. The master bedroom has a door to the living and sleeping area with two sofa beds. Wi-Fi access for 3 devices is free. Also bookable as a Junior Suite (JSA).

Aqua Suite

The Aqua Suite (S2, approx. 70 m²) consists of a living/sleeping room and a separate bedroom. Otherwise, it has the same amenities as the Double Rooms Deluxe.
Wi-Fi access for 3 devices is free.

Super Saver Room

The Super Saver Rooms (SSZ) are equipped like the Double Rooms Superior, but have a smaller contingent and a special price. The rooms are distributed throughout the complex and are partly in less favorable locations. Wi-Fi access for 2 devices is free.

Double Room Standard

The Double Rooms (DA) are slightly smaller (approx. 24 m²) with similar amenities to the Double Rooms Superior, but are renovated in a modern style. The rooms are distributed throughout the complex and do not have a balcony. Wi-Fi access for 2 devices is free.

Young Traveler Room

The Young Traveler Rooms (YTR) are equipped like the Double Rooms Standard and are bookable for young adults aged 18-29.

All Inclusive

The main restaurant "Magic Flavors" offers breakfast (7:00 AM - 10:30 AM), lunch (1:00 PM - 3:00 PM), and dinner (Summer: 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM / Winter: 6:00 PM - 9:30 PM) as a buffet with theme nights and live cooking stations.
Additionally, the following à la carte restaurants are available: The "Magic Orient Restaurant" offers oriental dinners and a late dinner from 10:30 PM to midnight. The "Magic Palappa Restaurant" offers Italian cuisine for breakfast (8:00 AM - 10:30 AM), late breakfast (10:30 AM - 12:00 PM), lunch (1:00 PM - 4:00 PM), and dinner (6:30 PM - 9:00 PM). The "Magic Sky Restaurant" offers dinner (6:30 PM - 9:00 PM) on the rooftop. All mentioned restaurants are included once a week (for stays of 5 nights or more) and require reservation.
Furthermore, snacks, sandwiches, and ice cream are available daily at the beach restaurant "Magic Blue" from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM or at "Magic Souk" from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. Local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks are included around the clock at the respective open bar: "Magic Lounge" including midnight snack, "Magic Splash Bar" with ice cream, "Magic Breeze Bar" with ice cream, "Magic Blue Bar", "Magic Sky Bar" with a sunset coffee break, and the "Magic Relax Bar – Adult Only".

Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Monday. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay in Hurghada is mandatory. The next possible boarding date will always be taken.

Day 1:
Check-out from the hotel in Hurghada, then transfer by bus (approx. 5 hours drive). On the way, you will visit the temple of the goddess Hathor (1.2), then continue to the town of Nag Hammadi, where your cruise ship is already waiting for you. Welcome drink upon arrival at the harbor. Boarding and lunch on board. Dinner on board and overnight stay in Nag Hammadi.
Day 2:
Breakfast on board, transfer by bus (130 km south) to visit the capital of ancient Upper Egypt, "The charming city of Luxor". The full-day tour includes a visit to the Valley of the Queens and the Valley of the Artisans (2). Lunch in a restaurant is included. Opportunity for an optional excursion to the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple (bookable on site), then return to the ship. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Nag Hammadi.
Day 3:
Early morning departure from Nag Hammadi to Al Balyana (approx. 3 hours drive north). Visit the Temple of Seti I in Abydos (2), then return transfer to the ship and lunch on board while sailing to Suhag (approx. 4 hours drive north). In the afternoon, there is an option to visit the White & Red Monasteries in Suhag. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Suhag.
Day 4:
Enjoy your stay on board during the journey along the Nile from Suhag to Mallawi, crossing the Assiut governorate (approx. 15 hours drive). Overnight stay on board in Mallawi.
Day 5:
After breakfast, visit Tel El Amarna "The City of Akhetaton" (2) to discover the remains of the capital of the 18th Dynasty, followed by a visit to the Beni Hassan Tombs (2). Lunch on board. Continue sailing to Beni Suef (approx. 12 hours drive). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Beni Suef.
Day 6:
After breakfast, time for an optional visit to Hawara and Lahun "Pyramids of the Middle Kingdom". Lunch on board. In the afternoon, continue sailing to Cairo (approx. 13 hours drive). Dinner during the crossing and overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board, then visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx (1.2). Afterwards, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (2). Lunch is included during the excursion. Return to the ship, dinner and overnight stay on board in Cairo.
There is an option for an evening excursion to visit historic Cairo, such as the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, Moez Street, and the Sound and Light show in the pyramid area (bookable on site).
Day 8:
After breakfast, check out from the ship and transfer by luxury VIP bus to Hurghada (approx. 6 hours drive).

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins distributed over several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes. The range is complemented by a reading corner and a lounge bar. A jeweler and a bazaar invite you to browse. There is also a billiards room on board. On the spacious sun deck with a pool and bar, you can relax and enjoy your vacation.
