Location

The extensive hotel complex is located directly on the hotel's own 400 m long sandy beach. There is a jetty on the beach that facilitates access to deeper water and creates perfect conditions for snorkeling. From here, guests can explore the beautiful and diverse underwater world of the Red Sea. The nearest shopping center, Senzo Mall, is about 300 m away. The center of Hurghada is about 20 km away, and Hurghada International Airport is about 15 km away.

Facilities

In the popular 5-star family resort, you will experience water fun for the whole family! The complex is nestled in a beautiful and generously landscaped garden. Spend a great family vacation and enjoy Egyptian hospitality. The hotel complex, particularly popular with regular guests, has 481 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several three-story buildings. The main building houses the reception, the Sun Ray lobby bar, and the Giardino buffet restaurant. The extensive and well-maintained garden area offers a generous pool landscape consisting of three freshwater pools (Moroccan Pool, Aqua Pool, and children's pool with slides; heated in winter). A highlight of the resort is the hotel's own water park with twelve different water slides (use from 1.20 m) and a separate area with two children's slides (octopus, snake) that will delight the hearts of water lovers young and old.
The resort offers five delicious à la carte restaurants in addition to the buffet restaurant (Italian, Egyptian, Mongolian, Burger, Fusion cuisine (for a fee), reservation required for each) as well as four further à la carte restaurants in the sister hotel "SENTIDO Mamlouk Palace", which can also be used free of charge (reservation required for each). Additionally, there are eight different bars: Sun Ray Bar, Boulevard Bar (for a fee), Amuse Billardbar, Victoria Pub, Aqua Bar, Oasis Pool Bar (located in the main pool), Nasaya Beach Bar, and a Shisha Tent (for a fee). Sun loungers, umbrellas, and beach towels are included at the pool and on the beach. The facilities of the "SENTIDO Mamlouk Palace Resort" can be used.

Double Room Superior

The 45 m² tastefully furnished Double Rooms Superior (DSU) have a telephone, bathroom with shower or bathtub/WC, hairdryer, coffee and tea maker, seating area, minibar (daily refilled with water, once a week refilled with soft drinks), air conditioning, safe, TV, balcony or terrace.
Also available with partial sea view (DMS only in Summer 24) or for single use (K1, DE, DES). Also bookable as Type I (DI) at a special price, limited availability.

Super Saver Room

The Super Saver Rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms Superior, but with limited availability and a special price.

Double Room Deluxe

The Double Rooms Deluxe (DPB) have the same amenities as the double rooms, are also approximately 45 m² in size, and additionally feature a king-size bed or two single beds, a seating area with a side table, and a dressing table. The rooms have a pool view.
Also available for single use (DPE).
Also available with partial sea view (DDS/EDD) and as Type I (DDI) at a special price, limited availability.

Katta Family Room

The Katta Family Rooms (KWF) with bunk beds are bookable as schauinsland-reisen original rooms and appear freshly renovated in the Katta style (also bookable under KWF and DF2).
The rooms feature additional amenities for children, such as a Katta-style bunk bed, a Katta play area with beanbags and a small table with chairs, and an extra Smart TV with HDMI connection, as well as a Katta height chart on the wall. The sockets are also equipped with child safety locks. In the bathrooms, there are child-sized towel racks and a step stool in front of the sink. With the same amenities as the double rooms, these rooms are also approximately 45 m² in size.
Also bookable as a double room (FR2).
With 2 adults and 3 children, space is limited.

Katta Family Suite

The Family Suites (2FS/FMK) are bookable as schauinsland-reisen original rooms and have been renovated.
The suites are approximately 75 m² in size and consist of two separate bedrooms with a master bedroom with a king-size bed and another bedroom with two single beds, separated by a hallway. Both rooms have their own bathroom with a shower. The double rooms with a king-size bed are equipped similarly to the double rooms and have a Smart TV with HDMI connection. The rooms with two single beds feature a special lighting effect, a dresser with a Smart TV and HDMI connection, and a chill-out area with a beanbag. The sockets are equipped with child safety locks, and the bathrooms have a step stool and child-sized towel racks.
Please note that Katta and his friends are not graphically represented in Katta's Family Suites.
The Family Suites can also accommodate 4 adults.

Junior Suite

The Junior Suites (JS2) are approximately 80 m² in size and consist of a living/sleeping area with extra sleeping facilities and a separate bedroom. The rooms also have a bathroom with a bathtub and a terrace.
Also available for single use (JS1).

The Beach Front Rooms (BF2) have the same amenities as the double rooms but are located in the first row to the beach and have a sea view.

Breakfast from 7-10:30 am, lunch from 12:30-2:30 pm (winter) / 1-3 pm (summer), dinner from 7-10 pm (summer) 6:30-10 pm (winter) each in buffet form. Midnight snacks from 10:30 pm to 1 am. Alternatively, dinner can also be taken in one of the four à la carte restaurants.
Snacks at the pool bar from 12-5 pm. Snacks at the Aqua Bar from 12-4:30 pm and from 12-5 pm at the Gamila Beach restaurant. Tea time and pastries from 3-5 pm at the Sun Ray Lobby Bar.
In the main restaurant, Katta's restaurant area is available for the little ones, offering an extra children's buffet and children's tables.

Katta's Mini Club is available for the little guests (3-12 years) in German and offers games and fun with Katta and his friends. This includes a general area with various games, a PlayStation room with a selection of PlayStation games, and a sleeping and chill-out room for the kids' midday nap. In the evening, a children's cinema is available in the mini club for the children. Arts and crafts, cooking classes, and sports activities complete the program. In addition, there is a playground for the little ones, Katta's children's buffet corner in the main restaurant, and a mini water park with a pool. Katta offers a special highlight with his garden: various vegetables await the little ones, which Katta tends to with the young guests.
Babysitting service is available for a fee.

Wellness

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Monday. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay in Hurghada is mandatory. The next available boarding will always be taken.

Day 1:
Check-out from the hotel in Hurghada, then transfer by bus (approx. 5-hour drive). On the way, you will visit the Temple of the Goddess Hathor (1.2), then continue to the town of Nag Hammadi, where your cruise ship awaits you. Upon arrival at the port, welcome drink. Embarkation and lunch on board. Dinner on board and overnight stay in Nag Hammadi.
Day 2:
Breakfast on board, transfer by bus (130 km south) to visit the capital of ancient Upper Egypt, "The charming city of Luxor". The full-day tour includes a visit to the Valley of the Queens and the Valley of the Artisans (2). Lunch in a restaurant is included. Optional excursion to the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple (bookable on site), then return to the ship. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Nag Hammadi.
Day 3:
Early morning departure from Nag Hammadi to Al Balyana (approx. 3-hour drive north). Visit the Temple of Seti I in Abydos (2), then return transfer to the ship and lunch on board during the journey to Sohag (approx. 4-hour drive north). In the afternoon, there is an option to visit the White & Red Monasteries in Sohag. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Sohag.
Day 4:
Enjoy your stay on board while sailing the Nile from Sohag to Mallawi, crossing the Assiut Governorate (approx. 15-hour drive). Overnight stay on board in Mallawi.
Day 5:
After breakfast, visit Tel El Amarna "The City of Akhetaton" (2) to discover the remains of the capital of the 18th Dynasty, followed by a visit to the Beni Hassan tombs (2). Lunch on board. Continue sailing to Beni Suef (approx. 12-hour drive). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Beni Suef.
Day 6:
After breakfast, time for an optional visit to Hawara and Lahun "Pyramids of the Middle Kingdom". Lunch on board. In the afternoon, continue sailing to Cairo (approx. 13-hour drive). Dinner during the journey and overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board, then visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx (1.2). Afterwards, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (2). Lunch is included during the excursion. Return to the ship, dinner and overnight stay on board in Cairo.
There is an optional evening excursion to visit historic Cairo, such as the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, Moez Street, and the Sound and Light show at the Giza pyramids (bookable on site).
Day 8:
After breakfast, check out from the ship and transfer by luxury VIP bus to Hurghada (approx. 6-hour drive).

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes.
