Location

The Steigenberger ALDAU Beach Hotel, particularly popular with regular guests, is located directly on the first beach line of Hurghada, on one of the most popular coastal sections of the region. The generously designed complex is situated on a 400-meter-long private sandy beach with turquoise blue water. Together with the two Steigenberger sister hotels, the resort is located directly on the "ALDAU Art Promenade" with various shops and restaurants, as well as the Elements Club & Lounge. The bustling town center of Hurghada, the well-known "Sakalla," is about 10 km away. Hurghada Airport is approximately 6 km away.

In the outdoor area of the complex, there is an extensive pool landscape of over 5,000m³ with a more than 400-meter-long "Lazy River" running through the complex, as well as a seawater pool (heated) and a "Jacuzzi Island" (for guests aged 16 and over). Sun loungers, towels, and umbrellas are available free of charge at the pool and on the beach. A selection of five different bars and seven diverse restaurants ensures culinary enjoyment. A 1000 m² Thalasso Spa and Wellness Center is available for relaxation. The hotel's own 9-hole par-3 golf course impresses with its attractive landscape and various water hazards. The Superior Suites (DM2/DAM approx. 50 m²) have a sea view. Superior Suite Sea View 4th Floor

The schauinsland-reisen Original rooms (DLM) have the same amenities as the Superior Suite Sea View, are guaranteed to be on the 4th floor, and thus offer a breathtaking sea view.
Also available on the 5th floor (DDM).

Family Suite Sea View

The Family Suites (F2M/FA2) have the same amenities as the Superior Suites but are larger (approx. 55 m²) with a sofa bed, limited Wi-Fi for max. 2 devices per room, and sea view.

The View Suite

The View Suite (S2) is approximately 115 m² and is equipped with an open bathroom with a shower and whirlpool, a separate toilet, a separate guest toilet, RFID door lock, an open living area, a bedroom, limited Wi-Fi for max. 3 devices per room, an espresso machine, and a large balcony with loungers and seating. The suites have a sea view. The rooms are adults-only.

Executive Suite

The Executive Suites (2DS) consist of one large room, are approx. 59m² in size, and additionally feature a dining table, dressing area, limited Wi-Fi for max. 3 devices per room, an espresso machine, and a balcony with sun loungers and sea view.

Enjoy your breakfast (7-10:30 am), lunch (1-4 pm), and dinner (6:30-10 pm in summer and 6-10 pm in winter) as a buffet, with changing theme buffets in the evening, at the main restaurant "Tamarind". Alternatively, for lunch, the "Bwala Pool Restaurant and Bar" offers a lunch menu from 1-5 pm, or the "Tanga Beach Restaurant and Bar" with a lunch buffet from 12-3 pm and a lunch menu from 1-4 pm. For dinner, in addition to the main restaurant, the following seven à la carte restaurants offer a selection of delicacies once a week (advance reservation required): "Bwala Pool Restaurant and Bar" with Mediterranean cuisine, "Tanga Beach Restaurant and Bar" with Oriental cuisine, "Alex Beach Club and Restaurant - Adult Only" with modern fusion cuisine, 3 restaurants in "S-Square" on the ALDAU Art Promenade with, for example, Asian cuisine. Combined product from a Nile cruise on MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Monday. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay in Hurghada is mandatory. The next possible boarding will always be taken.

Day 1:
Check-out from the hotel in Hurghada, then transfer by bus (approx. 5 hours drive). On the way, you will visit the Temple of Goddess Hathor (1.2), then continue to the city of Nag Hammadi, where your cruise ship is waiting for you. Upon arrival at the port, welcome drink. Boarding and lunch on board. Dinner on board and overnight stay in Nag Hammadi.
Day 2:
Breakfast on board, transfer by bus (130 km south) to visit the capital of ancient Upper Egypt, "The charming city of Luxor". The full-day tour includes a visit to the Valley of the Queens and the Valley of the Artisans (2). Lunch in a restaurant is included. Possibility for an optional excursion to the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple (can be booked on site), then return to the ship. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Nag Hammadi.
Day 3:
Early morning departure from Nag Hammadi to Al Balyana (approx. 3 hours drive north). Visit the Temple of Seti I in Abydos (2), then return transfer to the ship and lunch on board during the journey to Sohag (approx. 4 hours drive north). In the afternoon, there is an option to visit the White & Red Monasteries in Sohag. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Sohag.
Day 4:
Enjoy your stay on board during the journey along the Nile from Sohag to Mallawi, crossing the Assiut Governorate (approx. 15 hours drive). Overnight stay on board in Mallawi.
Day 5:
After breakfast, visit Tel El Amarna, "The City of Akhetaton" (2), to discover the remains of the capital of the 18th Dynasty, followed by a visit to the Beni Hassan Tombs (2). Lunch on board. Continue sailing to Beni Suef (approx. 12 hours drive). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Beni Suef.
Day 6:
After breakfast, time for an optional visit to Hawara and Lahun, "Pyramids of the Middle Kingdom". Lunch on board. In the afternoon, continue sailing to Cairo (approx. 13 hours drive). Dinner during the journey and overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board, then visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx (1.2). Afterwards, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (2). Lunch is included during the excursion. Return to the ship, dinner and overnight stay on board in Cairo.
There is an option for an evening excursion to visit historic Cairo, such as the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, Moez Street, and the Sound and Light show in the pyramid area (can be booked on site).
Day 8:
After breakfast, check-out from the ship and transfer by luxury VIP bus to Hurghada (approx. 6 hours drive).
