Location

The Mövenpick Resort & Spa is located in the heart of El Gouna, idyllically situated on one of the numerous peninsulas with its own exclusive beach, nestled between the Red Sea and a picturesque lagoon. The charming town center of El Gouna, offering a plethora of restaurants and shops, is about 1.5 km away. The picturesque Abu Tig Marina, an exclusive yacht harbor with a variety of restaurants and shopping opportunities, can be reached after approx. 3.5 km. The resort is located about 27 km north of the center of Hurghada and approx. 40 km from Hurghada Airport.

The spacious hotel complex in Mediterranean style comprises a total of 420 rooms, harmoniously distributed across seven different buildings. The particularly spacious and elegantly furnished lobby welcomes guests with a stylish reception and comfortable seating; safes are available there free of charge. The buffet restaurant "Palavrion" and three à la carte restaurants, offering an exquisite selection of seafood, oriental, and Italian specialties, ensure culinary highlights. The offer is rounded off by a cozy bar, two pool bars, and a souvenir shop. The hotel's own spa area invites you to relaxing wellness experiences with six different treatment rooms. In the extensive outdoor area, a well-maintained garden landscape with three pools and a separate children's pool, some of which are heated in winter, extends. Sun loungers, umbrellas, and towels are available free of charge both at the pool and on the beach.

The modernly furnished double rooms (D) are spacious (approx. 40 sqm) equipped with a king-size bed or two twin beds, shower/toilet, hairdryer, air conditioning, flat-screen satellite TV, telephone, coffee and tea maker, minibar, Wi-Fi, safe (free of charge) and terrace with garden view.

Double Room Deluxe Sea View

The Double Rooms Deluxe Sea View (DDM) are equipped like the Double Rooms, but also have a sea view and a balcony or terrace. Sparkling wine upon arrival.

Double Room Deluxe Lagoon View

The Double Rooms Deluxe Lagoon View (D2L) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms but overlook the lagoon and have a balcony or terrace.
Also bookable for single use (1DL) and as type I (DLI).

Family Room

The Family Rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the Double Rooms but are more spacious (approx. 50 sqm) and also feature an open sleeping area (maisonette) and a balcony overlooking the lagoon or pool.

Breakfast buffet in "Palavrion" from 7:00-10:30 AM, late riser breakfast from 10:30-11:00 AM, lunch from 1:00-3:00 PM, and dinner from 6:00-10:00 PM either in "Palavrion" (buffet) or in the à la carte restaurant "Gallery" (Italian) from 6:30-10:00 PM.
Afternoon snacks from 12:00-4:00 PM, ice cream from 11:00 AM-5:00 PM, and coffee, tea, and cake from 3:00-5:00 PM.

Dine Around

The Dine Around program allows guests with Half Board, Full Board, or All-Inclusive to enjoy a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants of other hotels - at no extra cost for food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine Around offer multiple times: 1x for stays of four nights or more, up to 3x for five to seven nights, and up to 4x for eight nights or more. Guests from 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from a 3 or 4-star hotel can dine in hotels of the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee.

Combined product of a Nile cruise on MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Monday. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay in Hurghada is mandatory. The next possible boarding will always be taken.

Itinerary:
Day 1:
Check-out from the hotel in Hurghada, then transfer by bus (approx. 5 hours drive). On the way, you will visit the Temple of Goddess Hathor (1.2), then continue to the city of Nag Hammadi, where your cruise ship awaits you. Upon arrival at the port, a welcome drink. Embarkation and lunch on board. Dinner on board and overnight stay in Nag Hammadi.
Day 2:
Breakfast on board, transfer by bus (130 km south) to visit the capital of ancient Upper Egypt, "The charming city of Luxor". The full-day tour includes a visit to the Valley of the Queens and the Valley of the Artisans (2). Lunch in a restaurant is included. Option for an excursion to the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple (bookable on site), then return to the ship. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Nag Hammadi.
Day 3:
Early morning departure from Nag Hammadi to Al Balyana (approx. 3 hours drive north). Visit the Temple of Seti I in Abydos (2), then return transfer to the ship and lunch on board while sailing to Suhag (approx. 4 hours drive north). In the afternoon, there is an option to visit the White & Red Monasteries in Suhag. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Suhag.
Day 4:
Enjoy your stay on board while sailing up the Nile from Suhag to Mallawi, crossing the Assiut Governorate (approx. 15 hours drive). Overnight on board in Mallawi.
Day 5:
After breakfast, visit Tel El Amarna "The City of Akhetaton" (2) to discover the remains of the capital of the 18th Dynasty, followed by a visit to the Beni Hassan Tombs (2). Lunch on board. Continue sailing to Beni Suef (approx. 12 hours drive). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Beni Suef.
Day 6:
After breakfast, time for an optional visit to Hawara and Lahoun "Pyramids of the Middle Kingdom". Lunch on board. In the afternoon, continue sailing to Cairo (approx. 13 hours drive). Dinner while sailing and overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board, then visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx (1.2). Afterwards, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (2). Lunch is included during the excursion. Return to the ship, dinner and overnight stay on board in Cairo.
There is an option for an evening excursion to visit historic Cairo, such as the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, Moez Street, and the Sound and Light show at the Pyramids (bookable on site).
Day 8:
After breakfast, check out from the ship and transfer by luxury VIP bus to Hurghada (approx. 6 hours drive).

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes for your culinary enjoyment. A reading corner and a lounge bar complement the offerings. A jeweler and a bazaar invite you to browse. There is also a billiards room on board. On the spacious sun deck with a pool and bar, you can relax and enjoy your vacation.
