Location

Spend a wonderful holiday directly on the beach at the popular Beach Albatros Resort of the renowned Pickalbatros hotel chain. Enjoy the view of the beautiful Red Sea and be enchanted. The holiday complex is located directly on the fine sandy beach and is considered particularly family-friendly. Hurghada center is about 17 km away, and the airport is about 11 km away.

Facilities

Bright, modern hotel lobby with chandelier, seating areas, and large window view.
This particularly family-friendly complex has 678 rooms spread across a main building and several bungalows. The upper floors can be easily reached by five elevators. The lobby offers a reception and a lobby bar. There are four different buffet restaurants ("L'Asiatique" - Asian, "Le Marche" - International, "Culina" - Seafood, "Sidi Ali" - Oriental cuisine), a shisha corner (for a fee), various bars, as well as a hairdresser and boutiques. The "Dolce Vita Lounge Bar", newly opened in summer 2023, impresses with its luxurious atmosphere and delicious cocktails. In the outdoor area, there is a pool landscape with a total of 13 swimming pools (some heated in winter), four of which have integrated children's areas and a children's pool, 11 slides for adults, and 7 slides for children, ensuring plenty of water fun. Sunbeds, umbrellas, and beach towels are available free of charge at the pools and on the beach.

The Bungalow Garden View rooms (BG2) are approximately 24 sqm in size and equipped with a double bed or two single beds, shower/WC, tiled floor, air conditioning, telephone, safe (incl.), satellite TV, mini-fridge (1 bottle of water per person per day included), kettle, and balcony or terrace.
Also available as type I rooms (BGI/DEI) with special pricing and limited availability.

The bungalows are identical in size and furnishings to the Bungalow Garden View rooms, but the view may vary (BU/B1B).

Double Superior Pool View

The Double Superior Pool View rooms (DSP) are equipped like the Bungalow Garden View rooms, but are larger (approx. 36 sqm) and have a pool view. The rooms can be located in the main building or in the annex buildings.
Also available with sea view (DMU).

Double Room Sea View

The Double Rooms Sea View (DM) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms, additionally offer a sea view, and are located in the main building.
Also available for single occupancy (DEM).

Super Saver Room

The Super Saver Rooms (SSZ) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms, are located throughout the hotel complex, and have a limited contingent.

Family Room

The Family Rooms (DF2) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms, but are larger (approx. 48 sqm), consist of 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, and have a balcony or terrace.

The Suites Sea View (S2M) have the same amenities as the Bungalow Garden View rooms, but are more spacious with a living-bedroom and a separate bedroom.

Breakfast buffet from 7-10 AM, late breakfast from 7-10:30 AM, lunch from 12:30-2:30 PM, and dinner in summer from 6:30-9:30 PM, in winter from 6:30-8:30 PM. Various snacks are always available. Coffee/tea, cake, and pastries in the afternoon. Ice cream for adults and children from 1-5 PM. All local alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 10 AM to midnight at the open bars. Combined product consisting of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday, including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Monday. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay in Hurghada is mandatory. The next possible boarding date will always be taken.

Day 1:
Check-out from your hotel in Hurghada, then transfer by bus (approx. 5 hours). En route, you will visit the Temple of the Goddess Hathor (1.2), then continue to the town of Nag Hammadi, where your cruise ship awaits you. Upon arrival at the harbor, a welcome drink. Embarkation and lunch on board. Dinner on board and overnight stay in Nag Hammadi.
Day 2:
Breakfast on board, transfer by bus (130 km south) to visit the capital of ancient Upper Egypt, "The Charming City of Luxor". The full-day tour includes a visit to the Valley of the Queens and the Valley of the Artisans (2). Lunch in a restaurant is included. Option for an excursion to the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple (can be booked locally), then return to the ship. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Nag Hammadi.
Day 3:
Early morning departure from Nag Hammadi to Al Balyana (approx. 3 hours drive north). Visit the Temple of Seti I in Abydos (2), then return transfer to the ship and lunch on board while sailing to Suhag (approx. 4 hours drive north). In the afternoon, there is an optional excursion to the White & Red Monasteries in Suhag. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Suhag.
Day 4:
Enjoy your stay on board while sailing along the Nile from Suhag to Mallawi, crossing the Assiut Governorate (approx. 15 hours sailing). Overnight on board in Mallawi.
Day 5:
After breakfast, visit Tel El Amarna, "The City of Akhetaten" (2), to explore the remains of the capital of the 18th Dynasty, followed by a visit to the Beni Hassan Tombs (2). Lunch on board. Continue sailing to Beni Suif (approx. 12 hours sailing). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Beni Suif.
Day 6:
After breakfast, time for an optional visit to Hawara and Lahoun, "Pyramids of the Middle Kingdom". Lunch on board. In the afternoon, continue sailing to Cairo (approx. 13 hours sailing). Dinner during the journey and overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board, then visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx (1.2). Afterwards, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (2). Lunch is included during the excursion. Return to the ship, dinner and overnight stay on board in Cairo.
There is an optional evening excursion to visit historic Cairo, such as the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, Moez Street, and the Sound and Light Show in the pyramid area (can be booked locally).
Day 8:
After breakfast, check out from the ship and transfer by luxury VIP bus to Hurghada (approx. 6 hours drive).

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins spread across several decks. The main restaurant offers delicious dishes.
