Location

The family-friendly hotel is located directly on a 1,500-meter long, beautifully landscaped lagoon with its own beach section in El Gouna, north of Hurghada. A shuttle boat transfer (approx. 15 minutes drive) takes guests to another private island beach on the open sea, the beautiful Zeytouna Beach. From Zeytouna Beach, a long jetty extends into the Red Sea. From there, you can discover the fascinating underwater world while snorkeling. The center of El Gouna is approx. 350 m away. Hurghada Airport is approx. 25 kilometers away.

The complex, built in Nubian village style, impresses with its cozy atmosphere, characterized by towers, domes, and arches, and has 434 comfortably furnished rooms spread across several two-story buildings. The resort has a beautiful and inviting reception area with seating and Wi-Fi in all public areas of the complex. The outdoor area features four different swimming pools (fitness pool, sunset pool with two small slides, aqua splash pool with four different water slides, dolphin pool), three of which are heated in winter. There are also four children's pools for the little ones, three of which are heated in winter. One of these pools has small slides and water features. Sun loungers, beach towels, and umbrellas are provided free of charge at the pools and on the hotel's private beach. For culinary delights, there is a main restaurant and four different specialty restaurants, as well as various bars.

Double Room Comfort (DK2)

The tastefully furnished rooms (approx. 21 m²) have been fully renovated and feature a bathroom with shower/WC, minibar (for a fee), air conditioning, telephone, hairdryer, kettle, coffee/tea maker, safe, satellite TV, Wi-Fi, and a balcony or terrace with pool and garden views. Also available for single use (DK1).

Premium Room (PR2)

With the same amenities as the double rooms, but more spacious (approx. 28 m²), these rooms offer pool/garden or lagoon views. Also available for single use (PR1).

Family Room (DF2)

The cozy family rooms have the same amenities as the double rooms but are more spacious (approx. 37 m²).

Double Superior Room

The newly bookable Superior rooms (DSU, 28 m²) have been renovated and offer a choice of different views, depending on the room's location in the hotel – either with a view of the garden or the refreshing pool. The rooms are equipped with two different types of beds: a spacious king-size bed or two single beds, as desired. The rooms feature free Wi-Fi, air conditioning, a kettle, and tea/coffee making facilities.

Double Superior Plus Room

The rooms (DSB) are more spacious (approx. 35 m²) with similar amenities to the Double Superior rooms. The rooms have been renovated and are newly bookable.

The main restaurant "Sunny Restaurant" offers breakfast (07:00-10:00), lunch (13:00-15:00), and dinner (18:00-21:00) in buffet style. Additionally, the restaurant offers a tea time with various snacks from 16:00 to 17:00. There are also various specialty restaurants: "Greenhouse" with vegan and vegetarian dishes in the morning (07:30-11:00 buffet style), lunch (11:00-15:00 à la carte for a fee) and in the evening (18:00-21:00 à la carte for a fee with prior reservation). "Lagoon Lunch" at lunchtime (12:00-15:00 à la carte). "Dolce Vita" with Italian dishes (18:30-21:00 à la carte) and "Chez Pascal" with a selection of various specialties (18:30-21:00 à la carte for a fee on Fridays). Soft drinks, hot beverages, and local alcoholic drinks are offered to guests until midnight at six different bars, including the All-Inclusive Bar, the Sunset Bar, the Dolphin Bar, the Lagoon Bar, the Lounge Bar, and the Peanuts Bar, which is open until midnight and offers various entertainment and activities.

Dine Around El Gouna

The Dine-Around program allows guests with half board, full board, or all-inclusive to enjoy a special culinary experience. Guests can dine in participating restaurants of other hotels – completely free of charge for the food (drinks excluded).
Depending on the length of stay, guests can use the Dine-Around offer several times: 1 time for stays of four nights or more, up to 3 times for five to seven nights, and up to 4 times for eight nights or more. Guests from 5-star hotels have access to all participating restaurants. Guests from 3 or 4-star hotels can dine in hotels of the same category – an upgrade to a 5-star restaurant is possible for a small fee.
Table reservation through the hotel (ideally by 12:00 on the same day) is recommended.

Combined product of a Nile cruise on the MS Magic I and a beach holiday including all intermediate transfers. Accommodation in the hotel will always be in the cheapest available room category. Boarding is always on Mondays. The trip must be started at least one day in advance, as an overnight stay in Hurghada is mandatory. Boarding will always be the next possible.

Day 1:
Check-out from the hotel in Hurghada, then transfer by bus (approx. 5 hours drive). On the way you will visit the Temple of Hathor (1.2), then continue to the city of Nag Hammadi, where your cruise ship is waiting for you. Upon arrival at the port, a welcome drink. Boarding and lunch on board. Dinner on board and overnight stay in Nag Hammadi.
Day 2:
Breakfast on board, transfer by bus (130 km south) to visit the capital of ancient Upper Egypt, "The charming city of Luxor". The full-day tour includes a visit to the Valley of the Queens and the Valley of the Artisans (2). Lunch in a restaurant is included. Optional excursion to the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple (can be booked on site), then return to the ship. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Nag Hammadi.
Day 3:
Early morning departure from Nag Hammadi to Al Balyana (approx. 3 hours drive north). Visit of the Temple of Seti I in Abydos (2), then return transfer to the ship and lunch on board during the journey to Sohag (approx. 4 hours drive north). In the afternoon, there is an option to visit the White & Red Monasteries in Sohag. Dinner and overnight stay on board in Sohag.
Day 4:
Enjoy your stay on board during the cruise from Sohag to Mallawi, crossing the Assiut Governorate (approx. 15 hours drive). Overnight stay on board in Mallawi.
Day 5:
After breakfast, visit Tel El Amarna "The City of Akhetaton" (2) to discover the remains of the capital of the 18th Dynasty, followed by a visit to the Beni Hassan Tombs (2). Lunch on board. Continue to Beni Suef (approx. 12 hours drive). Dinner and overnight stay on board in Beni Suef.
Day 6:
After breakfast, time for an optional visit to Hawara and Lahun "Pyramids of the Middle Kingdom". Lunch on board. In the afternoon, continue to Cairo (approx. 13 hours drive). Dinner during the drive and overnight stay in Cairo.
Day 7:
Breakfast on board, then visit the Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx (1.2). Afterwards, visit the Grand Egyptian Museum (2). Lunch is included during the excursion. Return to the ship, dinner and overnight stay on board in Cairo.
There is an option for an optional evening excursion to visit historic Cairo, such as the Khan El-Khalili Bazaar, Moez Street, and the Sound and Light show in the Pyramid area (can be booked on site).
Day 8:
After breakfast, check-out from the ship and transfer by luxury VIP bus to Hurghada (approx. 6 hours drive).

The ship has a friendly reception and a total of 72 beautiful outside cabins distributed over several decks. The main restaurant with delicious dishes caters to your culinary needs. A reading corner and a lounge bar complement the offer. A jeweler and a bazaar invite you to browse. There is also a billiards room on board. On the spacious sun deck with pool and bar, you can relax and enjoy your holiday.
